Great location and very nice accommodation. Visits from resident wild life very unique, and the tractor ride a definite highlight for both us and the grand kids. Best holiday ever and lots of memories to treasure.

Exceptional place to stay or visit for families

Beautiful views of meadows with sheep, peaceful atmosphere and lots of entertainment for kids - I highly recommend the tractor ride! The North unit where we stayed was fully equipped and big enough for 2 families with children to stay comfortably.

Our family normally holidays at 5 star resorts so we really didn't know what to expect.  After staying at Sunflowers for nearly a week I can honestly say that it was an experience second to none.  Ourselves and the kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return.  There is always something to do and the afternoon tractor ride around the farm for guests shouldn't be missed. Highly recommend this place.

Best holiday ever

We all (5 adults and 4 children) had a wonderful time staying in North Unit. Feeding the animals and the tractor ride were a highlight.  Was a wonderful place to be based while we explored Margaret River and surrounds. Loved the friendly atmosphere and Chili the Border Collie :)

2 nights with extended family visiting from Tasmania.

We stay in the East Lodgings, having stayed during winter and summer here. The units are well maintained, and feel homely. Our unit has always been well stocked with basic necessities, and plenty of beds and bedding. The access to the farm itself is great, being able to wander around, go home for lunch then go back out.

Like many others have said, we will return again (as we are already repeat customers)

Homely & Highly Recommended

We took our two little girls for the school holidays and stayed in the west unit which was looking out to the fantastic playground . Each morning the girls got a pony ride which they thought was a real treat . We also had a few tractor rides, collected eggs and saw a baby goats a few hours old . 
The best part as a parent was watching each day our 4 and 5 year olds get more comfortable feeding the animals and patting them . Day one they were so shy and scared . By day three they would let animals feed straight from their hands and give them a head scratch .
Book now , it’s worth the price you pay for such a  rememberable experience .

Felt like home

Very reasonable pricing, big buckets of food to give to animals. 
Recommend enclosed shoes,this is a farm after all. 
Nice variety of animals,watch fingers with the emu and there is one very greedy goat who is a bit of a bully. 

Lovely activity for the kids, nice picnic and play area.

We stayed for a weekend for my daughters 3rd birthday. Staff were lovely, great location and our favourite was the fact that we could access the farm outside of opening hours. The kids loved that all the animals were fully focused on them. We will definitely return next time we are in Margaret River.

Highly recommended

We stayed over the Christmas period at the farmstay and we loved it. My kids loved feeding and interacting with the animals and never got bored. We took no electronic devices and the kids didn’t whinge once about not having their iPad. We could easily do this trip again.
The people are so down to earth and make you feel welcomed.

Absolutely loved it

Spent a long weekend here with hubby and our kids (aged 3 and 1) - we loved that there was in-built entertainment for the kids in the form of animal feedings, pony rides, playground and egg collections. We also really enjoyed the tractor ride and the mini activities that came with it (boat race, giant swing, marshmallow toasting and a hot drink). Accommodation was basic but it was clean and fulfilled all our needs. Big shoutout to Debbie, Steve and their wonderful staff for making our stay a pleasant one. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting the Margaret River region! :)
