Overall, the stay was fine, but several niggles stopped it being a perfect stay.

Good:
- Across the road from Moona Moona park with the sea visible between the trees 
- Upstairs rooms with balconies had a better views
- Room was clean, comfy bed, large TV, small fridge and air conditioning
- Ours was an accessible room, so the bathroom was very spacious
- 3 parking spots available directly outside, otherwise free parking across the road
- Their website says its a 10min walk to Huskisson shops, but it was 20mins for us, even as fast walkers. A pleasant walk along the seafront promenade though, or via the roads.
- At the back of the property was a shared jacuzzi and BBQ area with fridge, microwave, pizza oven, sink and some basic utensils.  The BBQ was fantastic!
- The shower was hot with good water pressure.
- Handy plug sockets and a light on each side of the bed
- When breakfast did arrive, it was lovely. Juice, yoghurt, bread, fruit, cereal, muffin and milk.  Good for continental breakfast.

Bad:
- Check-in was at another motel. The woman was rather cold. No welcome, lovely to meet you etc.   I noticed a key return on their wall and asked whether we needed to return to keys to that motel and she said yes.  This is actually NOT the case, because there is a key return at the B&B!
- The woman provided no info at all.  Your room is upstairs, at the front, at the back etc.  There was no map or guide on the key or anywhere inside the building to know where our room was.  Fine once you found it, but some basic info would have been appreciated- especially when arriving late.
- She said they'd upgraded our room, which was a lovely gesture.  Unfortunately, no one told the staff, so we had no breakfast till I rang the next day to ask what time it would arrive.  The breakfast should be left in the room the day before.
- The magnetic lock on our door was loose. It didn't feel secure or safe at all- see pic
- Multiple things in the room weren't finished off.  Holes in the ceiling from old fittings, tatty plaster work and stains on the furniture- see pics.  It didn't affect the function of the room, but not what I expected for the price.
- The BBQ area had a broken, wooden chair which was dangerous- see pic
- The curtains didn't block the morning light, nor the strong lights from cars parking late at night outside- see pics
- Coffee pods were never replaced and there were only 2 coat hangers.

 I don't know if all rooms had the dodgy locking device, but I wouldn't stay again if they did.   A  good location for the beach, but further from the shops that I expected.

A few niggles which could be sorted

Highly disappointed with this business. Our booking was made outside of working hours yet no payment or confirmation was sent to us. Having received no confirmation we opted for another business yet we were subsequently billed $600 and they refused to refund us. They claimed the money had been withdrawn the day after our booking which was false and they claimed we had received confirmation from them which was also wrong. We have paid over $1000 for one weekend away and have been left highly frustrated and let down by this business. They claimed that there was adequate information on the website relating to refunds and booking which we are still yet to access. They also claimed we had been emailed information relating to the refund policy which would have been nice had they sent us any information at all! They also claimed that we were within the 72 hr window to not get a refund which was very wrong considering we were still four days out from our check-in date. Would not recommend this business to anyone. 

Not able to get refund, highly disappointed.

I just returned home from 8 nights at Huskisson Beach B&B. It was fantastic. 

You cannot beat this location, close enough to the shops without feeling like you were in the thick of it. Nice and quiet at night time. The beach is literally across the road and is perfect. Picking up the keys was a simple process, and on arrival there was plenty of parking, and the room was spotless and neatly presented. I was on the second floor and had a gorgeous balcony with a fabulous outlook. The bed was super comfy, television was huge, bathroom was everything you need. 

The breakfasts were impressive and plentiful, with cereal, bread, condiments, muffins, juice and fruit. Also equiped with a Nespresso coffee machine. The cleaners were super friendly and did an awesome job. Actually, all the staff were very friendly to deal with and I cannot imagine them being anything but! I was even surprised by a lovely gesture in my room, as it was my birthday. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was so relaxing 

I didn't feel the need to use the other shared amenities. Husky and Vincentia shops are a short drive away for lunch / dinner. 

Reading some of the previous negative reviews made me chuckle, however to address some points: 

- there were no bugs anywhere in my room including my bed 
- the room wasn’t palatial however large enough to be comfortable on an extended stay (I paid for a queen room with balcony and sea view)
- the bathroom frosted windows provides more than adequate privacy 
- the rain shower was extremely comfortable

An awesome place to stay!

My husband n I stayed here for the first time, also our first b&b it was fantastic, clean neat and tidy we had the spa suite which was amazing, the breakfast was spectacular the whole experience was amazing and we would stay again

Romantic

I had a wonderful stay here with my family last month. 
couldn't believe that the room is super clean, breakie is always good and tasty. 
I would highly recommend this place to people who travel with family or couples.

Wonderful place

Huskisson beach B&B is located close to the inlet at Huskisson. Check in is a bit weird as you go to another associated hotel to pick up your key card then proceed to the B&B.

The B&B  has no staff on site beyond cleaning staff during the day so they are basically apartments.

The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

On site parking is quite limited but on street parking is ample.

Our room was tiny but not unexpected. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Nice to see beach towels on offer as well as bath towels.

The bed was a bit too soft for us.

The only thing that was really annoying was the hopelessly low hot water pressure. They have a hand held shower head on a hose and also a huge fixed overhead shower head.  A nice look, but totally useless as a shower.

Satellite and standard tv are available as is a blue ray player. 

Free Wifi worked well.

Lighting was very good.

A nice continental breakfast pack is provided. Muffins, cereal, milk, some fruit, bread and spreads. A small coffee machine , toaster and kettle are provided.

It is about a 15 minute walk in to town if you wish to dine out and not drive.

Nice quiet location.

We stayed for two nights and randomly selected this B&b. From the start the staff were amazing when emailing back and forth. On arrival instructions were easy and place was easy to find. Room was clean tidy well presented really quite cosy made us feel like home. The spa bath in the bungalow is a great addition! Breaky is basic but all you need which is great. Such a beautiful spot. Being a travel agent I will 100% recommend this to my clients and I will 100% stay here again next time. Great little place. 

Great little place

Very clean B & B. 
The restocking of basic brekky was nice surprise. Coffee , tea , juice, bread, muffins and yoghurt. 
The spa in our bathroom was huge and very enjoyable. 
We wanted to use the spa outside but there was a group of friends using it that used it till late at night having lots of laughs. 
Beautiful beach in front and you can walk along a bath to the heart of Huskisson in 20-30mins. 
I wouldn’t recommend doing this late at night there wasn’t a lot of light walking home from dinner. 


Couples getaway

Very small unit dominated by a massive 4 person spa. Very clean and tidy. Not as well appointed as I would have expected. Very minimal kitchen utensils. No sharp knives. Close to beach and shops. Very good breakfast supplies 

Small but clean 

we had a very relaxing time here last week. a very comfortable B & B and an extensive breakfast. It is very close to the beach, which in summer would be fabulous, We could not see the free bikes, but maybe someone was using them.
