What was good

Channelled my inner Helen Keller during my stay - at 50+ my eyesight could be better and the mood lighting throughout the hotel meant that I was constantly reaching for my glasses (is it time for me to buy a chain to wear them around my neck...good grief!). Couple this with the fact that we are all talking to each other from behind masks and the dawning realisation that I am (a) slowly going blind and (b) deaf was a sobering thought. Nevertheless I was excited to be at this beautiful, fun hotel - the complimentary room upgrade was a delightful surprise and the staff could not be more helpful. I will be back with my equally decrepit girlfriends for our next Canberra visit. Great food Fantastic staff - so helpful and friendly...and fun!
