Relaxed and homely resort. When u need anything they are there for you!
Beautiful garden and swimming pool.
You can really find peace here to unwind. 
Prices are affordable.
They can pick you up and take you to the airport.

The owner was terrific told me where to go and great places to eat and explore. She even offered some tours that were amazing. The room was perfect clean and had everything I needed for my visit . Short walk to cruise ships and beach clubs . I had amazing time there can’t wait to go back.

Harmony hotel perfect place

When it comes to traveling with a big group, especially with family, you want to make sure you stay at a hotel that really understands your needs, accommodating every request you may have in order to make you feel like at home while you are in Aruba. 

So Aruba Harmony Apartments is that hotel, not only we felt welcome from the moment we booked our 1 week stay, but we were treated like VIP guests at all times, and the hostess, Barbara, personalized every single detail of our excursions, sharing important recommendations on how to wisely spend our money, so that we could always take the best deals at the best prices available. 

Our rooms were pretty cozy and neat when we arrived, there’s air conditioning in case you love to sleep fresh at night. Also there’s plenty of kitchenware available, so we could cook our own dinners just like we were at home. (There’s a supermarket nearby where you can find anything you need if you want to cook by yourself). 

Breakfast service is available at a very reasonable price, compared to the prices you see around the island, and it’s worth every penny you pay. 100% recommended. 

The pool area is fantastic! Don’t miss the chance to give it a try. 

Last but not least, the service overall deserves a world class award; I’ve worked at 5 star hotels and one of the best cruise lines out there, therefore I can tell what an outstanding customer service is. 

Do I recommend this hotel? Yes I do, 100%, and if I ever go back to Aruba (hopefully soon), this will be my choice hands down.

The best quality-price ratio hotel in the whole island!

We felt so comfortable in our apartment - just like at home the dishes, towels and silverware didn't all match but were clean and there was a great assortment and we had all the appliances we needed. However what was most important, and that really made the stay, was the attention and warmth of the host. She introduces new guests when they arrive which facilitates camaraderie and friendship - we had a couple of spontaneous happy hours with some very interesting guests. She provides an overview of the island if you want it and had great information and recommendations. She is super available, regularly checking in or just watching to see if there is anything anyone needs (like noticing our evening picnic table dinner and bringing a lantern). The patio space is quite large with lots of different types of tables and chairs. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt really safe (locking gate, security, plus the on-site host). It's not far from downtown and a short drive to the airport, with a small grocery store within walking distance. This is not a fancy resort but a very small, warm, friendly, homey place - perfect to kick off your shoes and relax.

Friendly Homey Apartment

This property was very disappointing. The synopsis about the property made it sound very cozy and comfortable and it was just the opposite. I have never stayed in a place that was in such a poor condition.

I arrived at check in time of 4pm and was not able to check in because the manager was not there.  She showed up 45 minutes later. Check in was OK. I asked about the time for the free continental breakfast the details showed.  She claims because it wasn't on the confirmation of the reservation, she was not going to honor it.  The ad also says free airport shuttle.  Details to contact the property did not come up on my end until I was already in route to the property so I ended up taking a taxi.  She even claims that she called Expedia and that she wasn't wrong, they were not wrong,  implying that I was wrong. Property is set back in a neighborhood so you will have to walk or take a taxi if you do not have a car.  Not too many eating options close by.  Manager offers rides at a price that changes but does offer 1 or 2 free dropoffs with you trying to find your own way back.  There was an elderly couple there during my stay.  I didn't see them after their 2nd day there because she had dropped them off for dinner and they walked back to the property 10 minutes in the dark. The property has a couple different names which included hostel lodging. While my room was a private room,  there were many incidents involving the other guests that were disruptive.  The manager took a guest's wallet and passport because he was smoking in an area he wasn't supposed to be instead of just keeping the deposit like a regular hotel. Do not stay here if you can help it!!!

Do not stay at this hotel. First of all, no one is ever on reception. Secondly, it is in the middle of no where - the only way you can get around is if you hire a car. Dogs and cats roam around the property, barking at all hours. WiFi can only be accessed outside. Finally, when we went to check out we were told we had to wash up - which we did whilst being watched by a member of staff. However, once we got home, we received an email saying they had charged us £40 surcharge for not washing the dishes! 

Whilst staying in this property, we witnessed another three people complaining. I am currently traveling around the world and this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.
