20 reviewsI booked a private room on booking.com for $66 for 1 night under the name Patagonia Republic Hostel but it was clearly this place. They have a great location, just up the hill from the supermarket and 2 blocks of the main drag in El Calafate. El Calafate is not a huge town and most things are centrally located, so if you are somewhat near here, you'll be fine. The staff here was awesome, super helpful with trip planning and recommendations. I really appreciated they offered laundry service for 400 pesos. They also had a really nice community area and kitchen. I thought it was clean and perhaps more than just the name has changed. I had a room next to the road and it had 3 beds in it, although i just used one. I think the beds were foam, and not my favorite to sleep but the place was quite and offered a good nights sleep.
