Advertising of the ground floor room fails to tell you that the window to such great
view is also the sidewalk for the dense traffic of people walking into the tea house.
The "private entrance" to such room has a tea house tables two feet away.  To keep a minimum of privacy one has to close the curtains, while hearing all the conversations going on outside.

Beware

Bellevue really is a very special place. The views, as other reviewers have mentioned, are quite simply stunning and it is clearly a labour of love for both Karin and Rolf who made us feel so at home from the minute we got there. 

On arrival we were encouraged to go for a swim or take the guesthouse canoe out on the lake to watch the sunset. We are so glad that we did - it was one of those holiday moments that you have to pinch yourself to ensure it's real! 

Rolf also gave us a great recommendation for dinner that night at Il Gabbiano, which turned out to be one of the best meals we had over our whole two week trip in Argentina.

We stayed for two nights but arrived late on the first night, if we could have, we would have definitely stayed one more night to sample the delights of the tea room and soak up the view for a little bit longer! 

There are only two rooms so it's worth booking early. 


Stunning views & wonderful hosts 

We stayed at Bellvue for three nights and loved it! Rolf and the staff were fantastic and were always on hand to help us. The accommodation is lovely and comfortable with the most incredible view over Lake Moreno and the beautiful gardens. We ate a fantastic breakfast each morning in the tea room with views out over the lake  - one morning we actually used Bellvue´s canoe and went out onto the lake. We were going to a wedding in Llao Llao and the location was ideal. It is also easy and to get to Bariloche by car or to explore the rest of the area with many walks, activities and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at Bellvue and highly recommend staying there. If you are unable to stay, pop down to the tea room one afternoon for a slice of cake! We can´t wait to return!

Incredible Setting

Warm, helpful and generous hosts. Bus service into town by the 20 excellent and necessary to get supper. Had supper at nearby hotel Llao Llao and Bokado which was an experience! Great hiking nearby Cerro Llao Llao and Cerro Lopez and close to cruce andino's departure from puerto panuela. 

Beautiful stunning setting in nature

Recently stayed with Rolf in his gorgeous home just outside Bariloche. The view is breathtaking, picture postcard perfect. It's a lovely, peaceful place to stay, away from the busyness of Bariloche.  In the Villa of Lloa Lloa neighbourhood in the Lago Nahuel Huapi national park. Close to wonderful hiking. At Rolf's recommendation, we ate dinner at two different restaurants close to his place. Both were superlative - a couple of the best meals we've had on our trip. A wonderful place to stay.
