Best hotel I had in Vietnam. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in the city centre, with restaurants, coffeehouses and pubs just around the corner. The name of the hotel says it all, Sunshine hotel

Sunshine

Located in the centre of the city and it was really fantastic at night with the live music bands on the street, street food and so many tourists like me. The hostel is not too far from all attractions of the city like the Citadel, the tombs, the abandoned water park, etc. And the staff was really nice, helful and informative as well. I just asked for going to the beach but Thi recommended me a place called as Beach Bar and turns out it was superb! I really like the opened lobby where I could enjoy beers and rant (made friends w/ other guests from my country, haha). The swimming pool was fun with the billiards though it was a bit small (it wasn't a luxury hotel so it should be, never mind). 

Really recommend this place! 

Best place for a holiday!

very pleased with the quality of the hostel service.  room was very clean and airy.  Accompanying services made me particularly happy (such as swimming pools).  I give praise to the service staff, they were very hospitable !!  Especially Thi :)) she is very lovely and helped me a lot.  central location, therefore very noisy and lively, suitable for young people ...

VERY GOOD!!!

Loved this place. Great location, swimming pool, very complete breakfast, AC and the best its super nice staff. Thi helped me with my lost wallet and I could get it back! They also give advice for sights, arrange transportation and excursions

Best for its value

We stayed at the sunshine hostel for 4 nights with a family. The family rooms are clean and nice, the ac and WI do worked great. The staff was so nice (we forgat our tablet when we left and they had it sent to us). The location is the best location in Hue. I really recommend this place. d

Great place great location great staff

We booked 2 family rooms, rooms are spacious, they have a nice small pool and the breakfast was good enough. Trinh, Tram and Trang were amazing, always available to help with anything. This hostel is worth every penny. Thank you Sunshine hostel. 

Worth the money

We booked 3 nights here. The staff was really friendly and helped us with everything! But the room... was. Disgusting. First we slept in the Maily hostel next to the sunshine 3 hostel. Because they were overbooked, we didn’t really had another choice but to sleep in the Maily hostel. This was kinda strange but Maily was a really nice and very clean hostel with very friendly staff. The next 2 nights we were supposed to sleep in the sunshine 3, that we actually booked. We came into the room and immediately there were 3 cockroaches running around our room (also on the bed😭). The guy from the hostel killed them all for us, we appreciated that. But then 3 other ones came out. At this point we were not going to sleep in this room anymore. We asked if there was another room but they were fully booked. So we went back to Maily because they had really clean and nice rooms. Maybe it was because our room was next to the swimming pool but these were a lot of cockroaches crawling around.. Over all, the staff was really nice and they would help us with everything. But the room was just really disgusting with all the cockroaches.

Found 6 cockroaches in our room

We had a confirmed booking via booking.com and advised hotel of arrival time. When we arrived, they said our room was not available as the AC was broken. They offered us a room at a different hotel for the same price and said we could have the room we booked the following day. I asked to see the room we booked in order to make a comparison to the new place and they said I couldn’t. As it transpired, they had double booked the room and so were lying to us - there was no problem with the AC. The room we were offered at an alternative hotel was 150,000 dong cheaper which they were going to pocket for themselves as they were trying to charge the same rate. They said we could use their pool while we waited for the alternative room to be cleaned but then tried to charge us for it when we said we didn’t want to move from the alternative hotel (we were only in hue for 2 nights so didn’t want to move) for the following day. Not a good experience.
