Smiley backpackers hostel does nothing special. The beds aren't very comfortable and the rooms aren't very nice. They don't serve breakfast so you have to go and look for it. The people are friendly but not entirely helpfull. 

Average hostel

We staid for 3 night and we enjoy every second!!
The owner is super friendly, she help us with all we want.
Very big room with two duble bed, hot water, big windows and very nice braekfast.
If you want 🍀 she can help you to get in good price

Really good hostel!!

We stayed three nights at Smiley Backpackers and iT was really good. Beds are soft if you compare iT with a lot of other hostels Where the beds are mostly hard. The owners are friendly and willing to help you with everything, they make a Nice breakfast in the Morning. Only the shower was not really hot. Location is perfect, Nice view and close to the good restaurants!

Comfortable bed!

Stayed for four nights with two friends, whilst we did various activities around Da Lat. It was possible to book pretty much everything through the hostel, which was convenient and cheaper than booking online. The guys there were really friendly and one night we had a few beers together which was great fun and we learned a lot about Vietnamese culture. 

We also did the motorbike tour which was absolutely brilliant; Quin (if that’s how you spell it) was so knowledgeable and funny, and the places we visited were very interesting and authentic. 

We stayed in two twin rooms which turned out to be two double beds with an ensuite, so perfect! All in all, a fantastic experience, so thanks guys!

Great place

We spent 4 day in a dorm, it is the low season so they let us the 6bed dorm just for our selves, which is really nice. The staff is really nice and always smiling! The dorm and bathroom are simple and clean. There is hot water and every bed have his own light and electric plug. The breakfast is good. The location is perfect. There is a lot of really cute and nice coffe place, bars, and restaurant in that street. 10min away of the crazy house. I recommend this hostel ! 

Really nice place to stay 

Smiley Backpackers is a decent, cheap hostel in a nice location in the centre of Da Lat. We stayed in a six person dorm with comfy beds and a hot shower. It's owned by a nice Vietnamese family who are friendly and laid back. Breakfast of bread with eggs or jam plus coffee is included in the room rate. There's a nice little table on the street with a bit of a view which is great for drinking and people watching. They also rent out motorbikes cheaply, but the one they gave me didn't have a working speedometer so I went next door instead. It's on a quiet street with lots of other hostels five minutes' walk from the centre of Da Lat. A good, cheap option.
