This motel has down to very basic service - a nice shower, a quiet and comfortable sleep, and a stable high speed WiFi. Other than those, there is no hair dryer, no hanger, no luggage rack, no coffee, no ice (I didn't find the ice machine).

The room is small. Bathroom has no extra countertop for personal toiletries. Our non-smoking room had smoke smell and an ash tray!

The only highlight was the owner family was very nice and helpful.

For this price, I'd rather choose other motels around this area.

Down to the Basic

The motel is in a very poor area near St. Louis.  Motel is older but room is clean.  Room had comfy bed, good A/C, fridge, micro.  No coffee, minimum ice, tight parking.  I definitely would not recommend this for a single women.

The general manager Priyang (short and looks Indian/Pakistani) was very rude and unwelcoming from the start. I did not like his hospitality nor (lack of) respect for his customers. The hotel does look like it is in a shady area with barred windows you can't see through and all types of intrusive paranoid rules for protection. Apparently, I just found out there is no hot water. Outside of him, the other staff member, an elderly cleaning man was very nice and helpful. The price is good and the room looks clean for now. I would not recommend this place in terms of service if dealing with Priyang. If service was improved my recommendation would change greatly. He left a very bad first impression from the start (e.g. impolite, prejudiced, intrusive, paranoid, not present when we first arrived, cold, unhelpful, poor communication, etc.) and did so repeatedly without apology. One of the worst first impressions I've seen at a motel.

Bad Manager Service

Probably the less apealing Motel I have ever slept in. Location is good for a road trip and also good for visiting ST Louis because it is very close by car. It looks like prostitutes and clients come here everyday. We turned on the TV for 3 seconds and it was hard core porn on the channel. The WIFI was great. The room dated and we suspected dirty enough that we decided to sleep in our sleeping bag and bring our own pillows from the car. You park right in front of your room and in my case I cheecked several times from the window if my car was still ok. I should say that nothing happened. The price we paid was the cheapest of the area. I woudl definitely pick another one and pay a couple bucks more if I were you! We had a fridge in our room.

We stayed at this place 2 days ago and despite the area being a little deserted, the motel was pretty decent. The owners are a traditional Indian family who made sure that there is no prostitution or other illegal activities going on in the motel premises. The rooms were clean and the owners gave us water bottles, cookies and tea. Very affordable room rates and a good place to stay for a night or two.

Low budget- Friendly staff!

This is not in a safe area at all.  The check-in is through glass and they hand you things through a door that looks like for medical specimens.  There were prostitutes and drug dealers in the parking lot.  We were approached twice - and even the guy selling drugs told us to get out of there.  The windows have bars on them and the blinds are shut on the other side of the bars - so you cannot look out.  The carpet is stained.  The room is tiny and they only had one towel and washcloth.  There was a maxipad opened and used we discovered in the bathroom cupboard when looking for a hair dryer (there isn't one).  The shower handle was also cracked and very sharp.
