Great place for the price. Super nice and accommodating couple running it. They also love hunters and fishermen. Will let you use their facilities to clean fish and cooler to store fish and game meat. We rented several rooms for the 5 of us and agree that we will stay here again.

Best Place For the Money!

We booked a Double Queen room for 3 nights. It is our 36th Wedding Anniversary and all we can say is WOW! This place is absolutely fabulous. The man and woman who run this establishment should be awarded an Excellence Award. This place is spotless. It's a single level motel that he everything we needed. We are here not only to celebrate our Anniversary, but to also ride our motorcycle in the area. We are close to restaurants that we can walk to. We enjoyed it so much we went ahead and payed to stay an additional night. If you want comfortable, clean, quiet, and affordable lodging in the Show Low area, look no more! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you for making our Anniversary even more special!!  

The Best Anniversary Week Yet!

My mother who gets around in a scooter, had booked a room for this past weekend 6/11/2021-6/13/2021 and was told that they couldn’t accommodate her and that she would break everything. Rude staff and treated her poorly. She has stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past with no issue but new management is terrible. Looking at contacting state board about ADA laws.

We stayed in Kiva for Memorial weekend. It was very clean, cosy and bed was very comfortable. They are also dog friendly! The owner is so nice and accommodating! The motel offers everything you you need for a very good price. We will definitely come back! If you are looking for a motel don’t look any further!

Just wanted to take a moment and shout out to the management team...the owners...the staff...the ones who make it possible at this motel.  Thank you so much for the customer service you provided...the friendly demeanor from the time I walked in the door to check in. I appreciate you, your service and the cleanliness of your property. Hands down...I will return to your property when I come back in town to Showlow. Thank you for exceeding my expectation.

Our main concern was finding a safe place to stay during the pandemic. Kiva Motel has no central air, so is safer against airborne pathogens. Our rooms were adequately appointed and spotlessly clean. The owners are wonderful and their concern for customer satisfaction is evident. If you want clean, sanitized accommodations at a great value, look no farther! Kiva Motel is your best bet.

Weekend in the pines

The room was not great but the treatment by management was worse. At 8:15 AM they pounded on my door demanding that I leave the room so they could clean it. When I told them it didn’t need to be cleaned and I was staying over they insisted that I get out now because they were there to clean. I do a lot of traveling for business and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. There are much better options in Show Low. Nice town, lousy motel.

Choose a different place

Nice, well appointed rooms that offer all the basics (coffee maker, blow dryer, refrigerator,  wi-fi, etc.).  The location is perfect making it very easy to explore the surrounding areas.  The owners are very accommodating, attentive, kind and are the only staff so do everything.   Your privacy is taken into consideration and  your room will be  cleaned each day unless you request that it be left as is.  However, the owners will check with you to make sure your needs (more/clean towels, for example) are met if you choose to forgo daily cleaning.   Of note is the cleaning...the owners wear masks and gloves and start the cleaning by opening the door/window and spraying an aerosol  to kill anything suspended  in the air.   The room was super clean and I felt very safe.

Perfect Location

Always a great stay. Owners neil and sandy are very friendly, enforcing masks and gloves policy and maintaining distance as well has cleanliness all around. Rooms are exceptionally smelling of linen fresh,  clean fresh beds, showers, fresh towels. Heavenly stay everytime i come to town this is my NO. 1 place to stay at.  highly recommended

ALWAYS A PLEASURABLE STAY !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We have been traveling for almost 3 weeks now. This motel is very clean, it had everything that I needed. She was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions. I would recommend it to my friends. The motel was located conveniently to restaurants.
