We stayed at The Tides Inn for just one night after arriving on a cruise ship. It was such a great location- convenient to walk downtown and shops, close to the Sea Life Center as well. The room was much more than a room- fully stocked kitchenette, comfy beds, pull out couch- plenty of space to stay in for awhile if you want a longer stay. It was also very clean. Staff was great- we didn't need them, but they provided numbers to reach them if necessary. We would definitely return!

Great place, perfect location!

Great location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, with the free shuttle stop 1/2 block away.  Our unit was spotless and the beds were very comfy.  TV and wifi worked fine.  Owner/manager was very nice as well.  No complaints.

Cute, cozy and comfortable.

Don’t overlook this gem! We stayed 2 nights over Labor Day weekend, so it was at the end of the tourist season. The Tides Inn is located in a perfect walkable distance to downtown and the waterfront. The unit we stayed in was darling and so clean! The unit was well stocked and the bedding was so soft. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay!

This was a wonderful Inn. It had a full kitchen with the utensils provided. It was basically a one bedroom apartment with two beds in the room. It also had a full size bed in the living room and a pullout sofabed. It was perfect for our 2 nights in Seward. The view of glaciers in the mountains when you walk outside is beautiful. 

Wonderful experience 

We spent 3 nights here. What a gem this place is! The accomodation is more like a small apartment, with kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom! All in a very compact but comfortable place. We were in the outer rooms but no disturbance from the street as Seward is a quite town, after hours. Parking was on the street but free. Most places were within walking distance and the check in as well as the checkout were easy. 
I think this would be my place to stay when I am in Seward!

Clean, comfortable, spacious for a family

Very clean and nice place.  We spent 2 nights.  The owner is very responsive and cordial.  Many restaurants within walking distance and plenty of parking available.  Rooms have a basic stocked kitchen with cooking utinsels.

Very clean place!

My 2 friends and I stayed at the Tides Inn for one night prior to a long hike in the area. Clean rooms (actually, more like small, one bedroom apartments) which look to have been recently updated and include a mini kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker) which is perfect for making some meals if you’re staying a few days and want to avoid eating out for every meal. Staff was very friendly & helpful and we had no trouble finding parking even though it was a busy weekend in Seward. We did get blocked in for a short period once by another tenant who for some reason felt he had rights to a particular spot but this was in no way the fault of the hotel. Like every other hotel on earth, parking is not assigned. Our only complaint was that our room which was one of the inner rooms allowed outside noise through the door and thanks to our noisy neighbors, those of us sleeping in the living room area of the “apartment” were woken up several times throughout the night. Also, there is a lobby light which understandably needs to be on at all times but shined into the window of our room. Some blackout curtains on the front window of the room would be a nice addition.  :)  Easy walking distance to restaurants and downtown.  Overall, a nice place to stay in Seward and we all agreed that we would definitely stay there again. 

Clean, updated, great price, great location

Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.  Minutes from downtown Seward, fishing expeditions, sightseeing tours and all that Seward has to offer.  Plenty of space in each room for your entire family

KY Wounded Heroes 2020

The price was unbelievable great! The staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the ocean or take a trip and walk on the docks in the evening. It is a perfect spot.to stay.  
The bed was in the living room and separate bedroom but who cares? It was just me an my daughter 23. 
We did not care that you need to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. 
It had two nice size t.v.s in the unit and was very clean. Felt safe and rental car was safe all night! 
I will stay here again if and when I get back to Seward AK. 
Full kitchen was nice too.

Stayed in the Tides Inn for only one night, as we stopped over in Seward. Room was a small apartment with a bedroom, living room (with a bed and couch), and small kitchen. Parking was free and right next to the building. There were private bathrooms, unlike a lot of the other hotels in this price range in Seward. We requested to check in a little bit early, and the request was granted. Staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. This location was perfect. We really liked the downtown Seward area, and you could walk everywhere in town from this hotel (yet it was still quiet). You can tell they have made some updates without losing the quaint small hotel charm. I would stay here again if we were in Seward.
