We went down for a long weekend as a family and as it was airshow weekend this was one of the only affordable  hotels around. The first room we checked into wasn't bad, until we unpacked went to dinner a d returned to our room to be greater by the entire outside area of our room smelling like weed. When we entered our room our room smelled horrible  so we could tell it was the room next to us smoking in their room, there are no smoking signs everywhere and listed on the site. We went to the front desk to tell them and the gentleman on duty came in to smell the room and went to call his manager, we were told there was nothing they could do because weed was legal in MD which we found out it is not legal til July 1st but still the hotel has a no smoking policy so they still should have been the ones to have been told to stop instead we had to repack all of our stuff and move rooms from the first floor room we asked for to a second floor room. We asked for a first floor room due to my disability so this was a major inconvenience  for us. When we got to the new room we found pieces of trash in the new room bandaid hair ties wrappers to items from previous guest it overall just didn't seem clean. Then we found ants crawling on the table multiple times. The bedding was white and there was small stains on it we had brought our own blankets thankfully. The first women who checked us in was helpful but after that the people in the front office where not. I would not stay here again. It is not clean, they are unhelpful and don't even follow there own rules. 

Horrible stay

Cancelled a reservation under booking.com in plenty of time. Kept $25 off 'free' cancelation!!  Claimed it's in small print!!

Will never book here again! Not cooperative! How many others are they ripping off?

Room wasn't too clean. Random trash throughout. Smelt funny. I couldn't stand the bathroom. I wore my shoes in the room 24/7 and shower. Youll have to drive to the boardwalk. I wouldnt stay again. Staff was friendly

My mother and I went to OCMD for the weekend and did not have hotel reservations. This hotel was one of the few places that still had vacancy that was close to the beach (about a block and a half.) It's also close to the boardwalk. We were able to book 2 nights. The hotel itself is an older hotel. If you are looking for a ton of amenities, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean room to sleep and shower, then I highly recommend. The air conditioning worked well and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. The mattresses were very firm, but the bedding was clean. The hotel staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Older but clean

I was in the parking lot talking to the lady parked next to me. She had just checked-in and was telling me their sheets were stained (coffee? hopefully? haha). I wasn't expecting much when I booked the place, but I was even more leery at that point.
So, I tore apart my sheets and luckily they were not stained. The room was musty, just smelled old, and the tub had hair in it. Bathroom fixtures were dated. TV only had analog signal (although who's at the beach to watch TV, right?). Beds weren't bad. It's basically your typical beach motel. No frills, nothing to write home about. Don't think I'd bring family here, unless you're strictly on a budget. 
I will say the front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming, which was nice.

Negatives: Dated rooms and musty smell

Not the Ritz, but a cheap place to crash

Arrived three hours before check in and there was no issue with leaving the car in the lot. Beach is to the left across the street and bus stop ($3 for an all day pass) to the boardwalk is to the right across the street. If you need to remove any sand, there's a hose located behind the office. It's a no frills motel. The motel room was clean, the outside area was kept clear of debris and the staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

Quiet, away from the boardwalk

This isn't gonna be like a Marriott or Hilton Garden Inn. You get what you pay for. That being said I didn't have high expectations for this place. Upon arrival the front desk associate, Chris was very helpful and friendly. He has quickly resolved our concerns. We called before check-in time and asked if we could still park there, he said yes and we could get the paper work filled out now. Then he called me when a room was ready which was around 1, 2 hours before check in time. The room had all the necessities, a microfridge, AC, beds, and a shower. I don't have any complaints. Just keep in mind its not going to be a fancy hotel or like a choice hotel. Would stay again!

A place to sleep

The room was filthy and flies every where.  The young lady at the front desk tried to move us to another room.  The second room was better only because it had three less flies in the room.  I would not recommend this motel for anyone.  The only bright spot was the front desk attendent Christina who was understanding in help with getting us a refund that was not guaranteed under the checkin agreement.  Thank you again Christina for your great customer service.  For the money being charged it's a crime for what you get.

Do not stay here!!!

We stayed here last year and it was okay so we came back and it was a bad bad idea. Please spend 20$ more and stay somewhere else. the floor is gross, looks as if it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. The bathroom is disgusting with many black marks all over. There is black hair all over the bathroom as well. When we checked in, there was sticky fingerprints all over the tv, the remote, and the refrigerator. We asked the maid to clean up and she gave us the paper towels and spray!! So we cleaned up ourselves. The tv in our room was also broken, there's a green line across the top and the sound is muffled. We will never be staying here again, absolutely terrible.
