It's is definitely a No Frills Hotel one of the reasons why I gave it three Stars instead of one it's because of Joyce. She is the general manager of this hotel, she help fix my problem her professionalism and promptness help make my stay bearable. Again thank you Joyce you are the best thing to this hotel.

Checked in on my way to Detroit room was clean area was surprisingly quiet and the front desk(ms Joyce)helped me find food and drinks during my stay
Would stay again because it’s a good resting point once you make it out of Texas

Not bad

First impression was “this looks janky.” Went check in, tried for get into my room but the door wouldn’t open. I had to push hard on that door and slam my shoulder into the door just to open it. Well got into the room, there’s no much to offer but didn’t seem horrible. Didn’t see any roaches. The remote didn’t work. Well I was woken in the middle of the night itching & covered in hives to find out there are BED BUGS!!!! I went to front desk to immediately notify them of this and get my money back & LEAVE!! They weren’t concerned a bit and gave me my money back for the remaining nights I had booked. they did keep my money for the night I stayed but it didn’t even matter at this point! I am horrified & disgusted to the fullest right now. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO DOWN THE ROAD, PAY A FEW MORE DOLLARS & SAVE YOURSELF!!!

The manager and staff are very nice and customer friendly. Helpful with any needs hy guest. The rooms are clean and up to date with nice furniture , comfortable place to stay anf relax. Located in a nice area near casino and stores.

Great Stop

Having an awesome stay! The Front desk Staff is extremely polite! The housekeepers does an amazing job cleaning the rooms and very helpful in any way they can. If your looking for somewhere to stay while working or on business or vacation this is the place for a very reasonable rate!

Great Stay at Motel 6 Inn on the Bayou

I planned a last minute weekend getaway for my wife & I. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on the hotel, and I figured that Motel 6 had been doing a lot of new updates & remodels on their properties across the country so I’d give this place a shot. It was $145 for 2 nights, and less than 2 miles from the casinos. Immediately when we got there, I knew I made a mistake. The building was disgusting, like it had NEVER been pressure washed. After getting to our room, it went from bad to worse. There were cigarette ashes everywhere...on top of the armoire, all over the office chair by the desk. The towels had hair imbedded in them, there was hair in the sheets. There was a hole in the wall near the toilet that you could see outside through. We were afraid to get in the pool. I mean that literally. If they couldn’t maintain a clean hotel room, I had zero confidence in their ability to maintain clean & disease-free pool. Please, I’m BEGGING YOU, do NOT stay here. Take your family & your business elsewhere. This place needs to be condemned.

We rented a room for two nights this past weekend. We got to our room to find ashes on the bed, so we pulled back the bedspread. The sheet had hair, ashes, and dirt on it. I picked up the phone to call the office but the phone didn't work. I went to the office and was given another room. We moved to that room. The bathroom had dirt piled up in the corners and on the baseboard, as well as the extra toilet paper holder. When we tried to shower, the shower head only trickled water. We complained and the manager came to check it. She apologized, but no offer of a refund. Never again, Motel 6!

We stayed there one night for new years in Lake Charles. Room did not have a smoke detector(just wires hanging out of ceiling). the floor had not been swept (laminate floors) and it seems they updated the Room but not the bathroom... it was horrible. on the plus side the bed was comfortable.

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STAYING HERE I REPEAT DONT STAY HERE...it is seriously infested with roaches and the rooms has an oder to it and when I went to complain they was like we don’t do refunds I’m like well I didn’t sign up for a roommate program and y’all should make the roaches pay half....$70 wasted and all I wanted to do was sleep for a couple of hours not to mention that whoever was above me paced the floor all night....HORRIBLE PLACE AND IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!

Horrible

We had stayed here several times a couple of years ago. It was nice and clean and convenient.  We booked the room for Thursday night for a quick stop on our way to Texas. We were shocked when we pulled up after a 5 hour drive after working a 10 hour day. The parking lot away full of trash and transients. The place looked like it should be closed down. The restaurant has closed and the nice board walk, deck is falling apart. Im giving one star because the clerk at the front desk was courteous and friendly.  If it wouldn't have been so late and we weren't so tired we would have left.  Loud people right outside our door half the night. Unfortunately they were the kind of people you don't say anything to...I was afraid. This motel needs to be shut down.  I always thought motel 6 was a clean. Affordable,  safe place to lay your head down. What a terrible disappointment this was.  I can't believe I paid for a dirty nasty scary place to sleep. Never again.
