We travelled through the southwest of the USA and this was the best stay of our trip. I regretted it a lot I just had booked it for 1 night, at least one more night would have been much better. We arrived late but everything was well prepared for our arrival and we could enter the house and our room, it was like stepping into a fairy tale. What a gem of a place!! It has loads of charm, and the next morning the very friendly service during breakfast made our stay perfect. Alas, we had to leave, heading to Grand Canyon Village.

The best stay of our trip!

This is a hidden jem in Flagstaff not located downtown. The location was less than 10 minutes from everything we did over the weekend from dinner to hikes and Sunday mass. Aside from the location, it's the staff that make the place. Bre and Madison could not have made our stay any better. They are engaging and knowledgable and treat you like a member of the family. The breakfast on the porch (until it gets too cool) is a great way to begin the day. Food is tasty and plentiful. They also have plans to serve indoors once the weather changes. We will definately return.

Wonderful weekend

We had an amazing one night stay at Starlight Pines B&B (and wish we stayed for much longer!). The owners were very friendly, greeting us at the door and helping us with our luggage. We stayed in the Lily room which was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. This room has its own private balcony as well! We loved all of the sweet snacks and beverages that were available to us throughout the stay. Morning coffee service was offered prior to a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed on the front porch. This was the most relaxing getaway!

Amazing B&B getaway!

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Starlight Pines! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, had great suggestions for local things to do, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we could have wished for. It even had a shaded balcony which was great for relaxing and taking in the view. The common area downstairs was very cosy and great to sit and read in. We had to leave very early in the morning on our last day, so Maxx very thoughtfully prepared a delicious breakfast to go for us. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in Flagstaff again!

Perfect B&B

My husband and I had a lovely 1 night stay.  The new owners greet  you at the door and provide a friendly welcome. The room and bath  were large, light and with all the amenities. We had a king 4 post bed that was very comfortable. Breakfast on the front porch was very tasty; they even accomodated my husbands dislike of eggs.
It was everything you hope for in a B and B stay. Would happily stay at Starlight again.

Lovely B and B

Our experience at the Starlight Pines B+B last June was AMAZING!!! My wife and I look for well rated B+Bs when we travel and planned a restful 3 night break at the Starlight Pines in Flagstaff as a 'homebase' while visiting Page, Sedona, Flagstaff, and then entering the Grand Canyon.  WHAT A GREAT CHOICE WE MADE!. Maxx and Monica are the best hosts and truly treat you like family during your stay with excellent recommendations for restaurants and local activities (like Walnut Canyon and using the east Grand Canyon entrance).  They pay attention to every detail... from the delicious morning 'coffee fairy' treats  to the adult beverages and brownies available to help unwind at the end of the day they cover every base! Our Dragonfly suite was extremely comfortable, and it had every accommodation we could dream of.  We really enjoyed the babbling brook cricket sound machine (so much we ordered one for our home bedroom) and soaking in the tub... We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to our return! Thank you Maxx and Monica!!

THE BEST BED AND BREAKFAST...EVER...

If you are ever in the Flagstaff area, there is no other place to stay besides The Starlight Pines. It truly became a home away from home when we stayed for 5 days while exploring Arizona. Max and Monica are the quintessential hosts. Besides being so helpful with our daily plans, they delivered tea and coffee service to the room before a wonderful breakfast served on the front porch. Delicious cookies were always available and on a few mornings, they had a hearty breakfast packed and ready to go when we left early for our excursions. The bed was comfortable, linens pristine and our suites were very clean.  Drinks and snacks were available anytime of day. You could have as much privacy as you liked with access to a private porch or join others in the common areas or swing on the front porch. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing vacation in Arizona

Starlight Pines B&B is definitely a 5-star experience. The hosts, Maxx and Monica, make sure their guests enjoy all the amenities …. and there are many! From a beautifully decorated home, gourmet breakfast, spot-on dining and travel suggestions, to delicious cookies, snacks, and beverages throughout your stay. Without hesitation, we would recommend this wonderful B&B to even our most discerning friends … it’s just that good! Thank you again, Maxx and Monica, for exceeding our expectations. 5 Stars, without a doubt!

My husband, Mike, and I always have a great experience at Starlight Pines.  Recently, we stayed with Maxx and Monica from May 31st through June 5, and returned to stay again on June 9th. Last year, we stayed at Starlight in early May and, later, in mid August. For that review, you can look up “Home Away from Home”.
     Over our many years of marriage, my husband and I have stayed at a number of B and Bs in Arizona , other states, and Canada, but this lovely Victorian style home with its warm and caring hosts is among our top favorites. 
     First, Maxx and Monica are flexible and accommodating with guests. Secondly, they always have up-to-date information on activities, events, and sights in the area.
When it comes to hiking trails and parks, they visit them frequently and can offer good advice for individual guests. Breakfasts are tailored to guests tastes and appetites. Each room is tastefully appointed and beautifully maintained. There are 3 porches which allow guests to enjoy the immediate outdoors. Also, teas, snacks, coffee, and desserts abound and are readily available after a day or hiking and sightseeing. The atmosphere is friendly, pleasant, and calm. After each visit, we feel refreshed.

Relax, Refresh,Renew

A beautiful home with lovely appointments and all the amenities you could ask for.  Maxx and Monica were warmly welcoming.  The breakfasts were outstanding.  Better than some multi star restaurants.  We had an amazing visit.
