a beautiful place to rest very pleasant and clean we will come back

This was the 8th time staying at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins in Twin Peaks, California for me. We’ve stayed here for 3 of my daughter’s birthdays, we’ve spent Christmas  and  Thanksgiving here and then we’ve stayed here just to play in the snow. My next plan is to get one of their large lodges and spend a New Years Eve, in the future, with friends and family.

      I live in Los Angeles and enjoy getting out of the city to stay at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins for its beautiful and serene environment. Each of their cabins  are differently themed and equally enjoyably cozy and charming. They have that charming rustic feel and look. They are clean and well maintained.  I recommend walking all around the property to see the different cabins and the areas surrounding each one. The outdoor decks for Story Book Cottage and Cedar Creek Cottage are two of my favorite locations there. But every cabin I’ve stayed at has something special about it. 

The staff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful.  And the location is great. You’re in the woods near nature trails and it’s a close drive to Blue Jay and Arrowhead Village for dining, shopping and entertainment. And just further up the mountain is an easy, and beautiful mountain drive to Big Bear for more adventure. We alway include a day trip there, then back to our Pine Rose Cabin in time for a movie and popcorn by the fireplace.

My family and I stayed at the Strawberry Lodge. The Lodge was so spacious and comfortable for our big family. We spend the majority time in the main living room playing games like charades and watching movies. There are 2 big tables by the living room and kitchen that were perfect for having dinner and playing card games. Would recommend staying here. We created wonderful fun family memories during our 2 night stay.

While the decor of our particular cabin—an Indigenous-themed two bedroom complete with a wooden Indian out front —was offensive, it didn’t trigger us personally. The cabin was clean, cute, well-finished and affordable. We ended up in this specific themed cabin due to a free upgrade. The beds were comfortable full-size beds. It was good that we only needed one of the bedrooms, because while the heat pumped mightily into that room, the other bedroom was chilly on this snowy night. We enjoyed the fireplace after purchasing a $10 wood & firestarter bundle. The location is just off the main road, but it is quiet. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a scary movie on the TV. (We were not able to screencast our scary movie using our Apple device, but this is kind of the norm). It’s my personal belief that fetishized indigenous bodies are a part of settler-colonial Western history, and as such a decor like this cabin’s can be a weird trip into a former time. I enjoyed looking at the mix of advertising images, fine arts, and crafts and thinking about their place in a wider mythology of the west. However, I want to warn anyone who might not have the luxury of an academic level of remove—this particular cabin is a straight-faced throwback to a piece of the past that is very problematic. For all I know, it was decorated by a registered tribal member or with great care by an ally, but I want to hold space for people who might experience it as a scary othering.

We enjoyed our visit!  This the perfect weekend getaway in a unique little cabin in the woods.  The wood burning fireplace was the highlight of our visit.  The cabin was very clean and the decor was lovely.  This was our second visit to Pine Rose. Our first was 20 years ago in a larger cabin with family and friends. We always remembered what a great time we had.  This time it was just the two us and our small dog.  I am so glad that we planned the visit.  Great memories!

Very nice surroundings and safe with friendly staff

This place is awesome! Very friendly staff, quiet, clean, and very close to Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory. The cabin had everything to keep and prepare meals. Take your family tell your friends. We highly recommend this facility to anybody looking to get away and relax.

I recently attended a wedding at Artowhead Pine Rose cabins and wow was I pleasantly surprised. I live approximately 70 miles away and had never heard of Arrowhead Pine cabins. What a gem! The customer service was great. The cabins are very quaint!  I was there for only a night, but was so impressed that I will be coming back!!   Thank you Arrowhead Pine Rose for a great stay!

We went for a wedding on the premises. It was spectacular. The cabin was so adorable.  We were caught in the crowd strike, and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Want to come back with my kids! The people at the desk are so wonderful and the cabins are so clean. The grounds are beautiful. Along with the pool

My fiance and I stayed one night sunday through monday in cabin 8. It was an adorable little cabin that had everything you needed and hulu and netflix came with the stay! The cabin was clean and tidy. I love that there's a real fireplace! Being september, it was pretty warm during the day and even with the little a/c window unit blasting, it was still 80 degrees in the cabin. I wish the a/c wasn't in the window that got the most sun. But, by nightfall, we opened up all the windows and turned on the ceiling fan and that cooled the room down by 10 degrees. It would be great if the front door had a screen door to let even more cool air in. My fiance and I enjoyed listening to music under thr stars while sitting on the front porch. It was so peaceful and the smell of the trees was intoxicating. The staff at pine rose were very helpful and nice. I really don't have any complaints but there are two things to keep in mind: the matress is pretty firm, so if you're driving up, maybe bring a fluffy blanket to sleep on top of. Also, a lot of sunlight came in through the kitchen window and into the bedroom (for cabin 8), so bring a sleeping mask if you're staying during the sunny months. The rest of the windows have blackout curtains that keep the heat and sun out, which is nice. We would definitely stay again and hope to marry at the wedding venue next year.
