Was disappointed about the cleanliness, hairs in shower and dirty mugs, very dusty all around could do with a spruce up and general tidiness also no signs to put up to say you need room serviced. Towels not up to scratch very worn and tired. Shower room not fit for purpose

This booking was last minute for the Brighton 2024 Marathon. The price of the hotel is reasonable but the state of it was kind of shocking. Me and my family had rooms 7,8,9 and 10. 9 and 10 were fairly clean. But 7 and 8 were filthy. There was hair in the shower. The bed had hair all over it and stains on the cover, which i called and got them replaced. Which she was lovely and understanding. However the ‘clean’ bedsheets still had a few stains on them. The floor was covered in crumbs, hair, god knows what (didn’t even look like they bothered to hoover). There was also a sofa in room 7 which was smothered in stains. The room altogether felt unclean and untidy. Which is just basic maintenance. In the end i ended up buying cleaning products and bedsheets (you don’t know who stayed before you). I also felt weird about the front door as any stranger could just come in and after seeing the review on someone being robbed i wasn’t surprised. Yes it was only £55 a night but no excuse for the uncleanliness of the room.

Good price, nice area. But filthy inside.

My husband and I decided we needed a short break away so booked last minute. We were recommended to stay here by friends who also enjoyed their stay. I just wanted to say what a great experience we had from start to finish. Rooms were clean and inviting, location was perfect and it was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely short break child free. 

Such a lovely stay in a beautiful place! We will definitely come again, thank you ☺️

Lovely short break

Very good stay, stayed on multiple occasions with no issues. Never had any security issues throughout my stay. Would definitely stay there again and I would also recommend staying here to others. Lovely place and very welcoming. Just what I needed.

Great stay

Pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price.   Easy check in and good location with parking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to watch Netflix and enjoy a good cuppa of tea. A quite area to get a good nights sleep. 
Would stay again.

Was a lovely home from home feel to the room

Disliked · Finding body hair (personal body hair) in the bathroom and on pillows.
I emailed the owners just to get a rather blunt rude response... then ignored.
* edit... spoken to the owner hoping to have a nice chat... very very rude, blunt and to be honest didn't seem to care one bit... told that if I'd phoned right away it would have been sorted... (12am at night after a 6 hour car ride, heavily pregnant with a 9 year old... just wanted to sleep.)
Utterly disappointed, disgusted and nothing at all done about it.

Dint waste your money

My partner our 11month old daughter and I stayed one night at Worthing rest, the room was a good size and seemed very nice on first arrival but as we settled down for the evening we started noticing that the room was quite dirty the was dust everywhere the was rubbish left around the soon, the cutlery left in the room was all dirty and for the sofa bed the bedding looked like it had not been changed since the last person stayed. 
But by fair the worse because they had not cleaned they had failed to notice that someone has dropped some kids of tablet on the floor witch I only noticed as my daughter picked it up From the floor! Luckily I sore her so it and got it from her before she had the chance to do anything with it

Not very clean

My husband and I stayed here while on a road trip, the room was lovely and clean. For the price we was very happy and didn’t expect much, but the room was more then what we had hoped for. Over all we was impressed and would stay here again. Really liked the self check in and made things a lot easier. 

Road trip

Booked through Travelrepublic, which to their credit offered a full refund. The owners were very pleasant but unfortunately they have been let down by their cleaners, dirty sheets, thick dust everywhere. Once the rooms have had a deep clean and the cleaners instructed in their duties I’m sure it will be a pleasant place to stay.

Nice owners but need new cleaners

This place was a sham , dirty disgusting pubic hairs in the shower it was filthy and booking .com advertise it I cannot believe it just a few photos 
 £90 for one night what a joke .And booking .com.offered us £13.50 refund . There was a awful smell a long the hall way my partner got bitten alive by whatever was in the mattress .
