Saxonia Guest House

Our hostess at the Saxonia was absolutely lovely. She made my partner and I, AND our 18 month old feel very welcome. The B&B was great value for money, especially as it was a last minute booking at the start of the school holidays. The room was very clean and had enough space for the 3 of us, our luggage, and the travel cot they provided. I am always a bit worried about the condition a hotel's travel cot will be in, but this one was a great brand and was very clean. Our bed was lovely and comfy, we had to drag ourselves out of it the next morning to get to breakfast! Speaking of breakfast - YUM! The cooked breakfast was fresh, hot and tasty! She even pre-empted my partners big appetite and popped him an extra sausage on his plate 😂 The location is handy, there is a one-stop store literally 2 minutes down the road, a tesco around 10 mins away and a load of restaurants, cineworld etc around 20/25 mins walk at Dolphin Square, and the beach another 5 mins on top of that (all very straight forward to get to). It was useful to have an ensuite, especially with the little one, it was a bit of a squeeze as the shower is behind the door but we managed. We would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for a quick seaside getaway.
