On arrival, told no chef available for evening meals for both nights of our stay. Too far to walk to nearest pub, they dont do food on Mondays anyway!  Car park full of vans, a huge trailer etc. Bathroom fan like an aircraft taking off.

Short break stopover

Nice friendly staff, really comfy bed!! Bathroom needed a bit of tlc but was perfectly serviceable. Went to the pub next door for dinner and my meal was fine but others were served cold, service was good and staff there were very friendly and more than apologetic when things went wrong. Seemed like just an off day in the kitchen

Comfy stay

When we entered the room it had a very bad smell.mould all over skirting by bathroom. Hall light flickering and standing lamp fault. No heating in room wet room dangerous water fro shower did not drain.marks on wall and carpet. Did not listen to complaint told me to fill in form on website room hindered my breathing had to go to reception in night 4 times as coughing with the mould

Room extremely poor and a health risk

Very tired hotel and restaurant attached. Hotel rooms clean, basic and plain. More for sleeping (comfy beds) than relaxing. Staff friendly and helpful. If staying more than one night no room service unless requested. Only 1 bath and hand towel left for 2 people, have to request more. Adjoining restaurant, outside approach tables littered with piles os cigarette buts, broken lights, path littered with garden plant debris making trip hazards. Restaurant food lacking in health choices, too much deep fried. Breakfast reasonable. All food costs extra to room cost. 

Premier Inn Tonbridge

We recently stayed overnight whilst visiting our son. We only paid £40 for the room, excellent value. The hotel is clean and comfortable, bed very good but we didn’t find the pillows comfortable. The room was standard PI fare but it was an unusually big room for PI making it look a bit sad as not enough furniture in it. Breakfast next door at the Beefeater was fantastic value and surprisingly good albeit simple fare.
Would stay again.

Nice stay

Very friendly reception team on arrival, however, after that I saw no-one. Shower in my room was faulty, tried to report this but couldn't find any team members. Unable to have a shower during my stay wasn't great. Wanted to eat dinner in the restaurant however, despite looking half empty I was told they were fully booked and under staffed so I couldn't eat there.

Tired. Needs An Update.

Overall very good but the Beefeater did let it down, other than the food which was good. Room was very clean and quite a good size.  Wifi is very poor though and goes on and off most of the time and you have to keep logging back in.

Premier Inn Tonbridge stay

Staff very helpful and pleasant. However, the rooms and public areas are worn and tired. The room was extremely hot and the fan that was in the room was not adequate.

We booked in for breakfast at 10:15 in the Beefeater next door. When we arrived we were told that it was very busy and there would be a delay. We were advised to help ourselves to the pastries, toast etc. but they had run out of pastries. Our hot breakfast arrived at our table an hour and 15mins after we arrived.

Not a great experience to be honest.

Nice staff, poor experience not worth the money paid.

Despite being on the side facing the road our room was pleasantly quiet and, in addition, the hotel itself was peaceful internally. Always a good thing! The bed was comfortable and had all the things you associate with a Premier Inn. Front desk helpful. However having been positive so far there is a need to be frank about the standard of upkeep in the room and corridors. The hotel desperately needs money spent on refurbishment. The curtains had holes in them. The window mechanism was faulty. The lighting missing working bulbs. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom and the entire bathroom was in need of work. This used to be our automatic choice for a budget hotel chain but after this experience we will consider others who are maintaining standards.

Needs refurbishment.

Exactly as you’d expect from a premier inn chosen as a pit stop on a long journey.  

Room smelled a little musty but Dan had been put on to clear that. 

Overall what we hoped it would be, star is for the smell.
