Stayed here last minute for our UB40 concert. Room was clean and spacious. All the staff were brilliant, really nice and helpful people. Seafront view hotel which was lovely to wake up to. Breakfast was excellent in the morning too and included in the price. Nothing bad to say at all. Will definitely return 
There is a hotel a few doors down The Delmont that offered good entertainment if you didn’t fancy the nightlife in town

Just had a lovely 4 night break here we have family in Scarborough so visit when ever we can we had a lovely family room with a beautiful sea view the hotel was lovely and clean and the food was top notch we will definitely be staying here again the kids diddnt want to leave and we will be staying a week next time thank you to all

Family break

Wonderful stay for a few days with the family, lovely clean hotel with a welcoming host/staff and a fantastic breakfast with great choices for the kids. Very close to the north beach and a short walk to most of the attractions in Scarborough, would 100% come back to this hotel again.

Lovely family holiday 

Absolutely fantastic guesthouse with wonderful views of the north bay. Martin was a wonderful attentive host. Room was great; we had a family room (rm 15) on the top floor overlooking the beautiful north bay. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the room was perfect for our needs. 

Breakfasts were included and were fantastic for everyone!

The guesthouse is about a 20 minute walk to the South Bay / main town and 5 minutes down to the north short beach.

Walking round from north to South Bay is very pleasant. 

Scarborough was fantastic and next time we will stay for longer than a weekend!

Best guest house

Booked to stay here as it had very good reviews. We were not disappointed at all. I was a little apprehensive with the current Covid situation and have not left my home town since the outbreak. The whole experience was very reassuring.  Track and trace to scan into when you arrive,  hand sanitsers at the main door and when you enter the Guesthouse.  Masks must be worn in all communal areas. 
We were greeted by Martin who was very friendly. We got a 4 day parking permit and managed to park just outside the guest house. First impressions were very good,  everywhere was spotlessly clean. We went up to our room, room 7. Lovely sized room and again spotlessly clean. We had a room with a sea view and the view really was worth it. 
We booked to have breakfast, it's well worth it! We had full English and it was amazing, certainly sets you up for the day. Martin made sure that we were well looked after, and asked evey day if we needed anything for our room. Even had a few horse tips thrown in!
We stayed for 3 nights and it was just what was needed. 
I would certainly recommend staying here if you vist Scarborough.

Much needed break.

Lovely  clean guest house,our room was perfect ,we had an amazing view  of the North Bay,not far from the Castle and the old town ,its really a must to go and see. A good choice at breakfast ,we really enjoyed our stay.

Splendid views over North Bay.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights from 15 - 18 September. We were allocated a pleasant family room 15 on the 3rd floor which had a tremendous sea view over the North Beach. Everywhere was spotlessly clean throughout and Covid precautions were excellent and very well organised. Martin and his staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would rate the breakfasts as superb....table only service as expected......with a tremendous choice of cooked breakfast items together with cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. We were supplied with a free parking permit and were always able to park nearby. We would not hesitate in recommending Greno Guesthouse to anyone wanting to stay on the North Cliff side of Scarborough. Many thanks......Colin and Gill.

Excellent 3 day Autumn Break

3 night stay at the Greno.  Fabulous location with a fantastic view over North Bay from our room (no 16).  Martin, Kath & the team were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and there was a great choice. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the mattress gave us the best sleep we have ever had. Can't wait to go back to enjoy this fantastic Guesthouse. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and the Greno would take some beating. Thank you for giving us a great break Carolyn & Graeme
