A lovely 3-night stay. Sean couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Our room was well-equipped, with plenty of storage. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the optional breakfasts which were cooked to order. Convenient for catching the tram into Blackpool, but far enough from the Pleasure Beach to be nice and quiet. We hope to visit again.

A real find!

What a lovely friendly b&b. Exactly how I expect Blackpool b&bs to be. The way we were welcomed and shown to the car park was so good and felt immediately welcomed. Breakfast was lovely and liked the way we could decide daily if we wanted to pay the small upcharge for the full cooked breakfast which we did one day and it was sooooo nice, Irene was very friendly and making sure we had everything we need. Was great to chat to owner Sean about our shared love of Disney (Or just Florida) and he was so easy to talk too and made ya feel at ease with any questions you may have about things going on. We thought it was really family friendly and we liked the fact that it didn't have a bar so was quieter. Location was quiet but quite far down the road away from promenade so just check if you have issues with walking (it wasn't a bother for us).

Fantastic stay

Sean (host) was most welcoming , explained everything and assured us we could contact him with any issues (but there wasn't any as everything is covered) .It's spotless,comfy ,cosy and they've thought of every little detail,even make pads etc .It's near to everything but just being slightly set back in a quiet street means no noise.Breakfast was all fresh ,well cooked and had lots of extras, delicious.We didn't get to meet Mark ( other host) as he was at work but Sean was so genuine ,he loves his job ,you won't stay, in a nicer place or me a nicer guy , we're coming back with the rest of the family,thanks guy's.

Excellent stay at Oakleigh. Comfy, clean rooms. Great location - short walk from the Promenade & bus/tram services. Quiet surrounds. Included was a basic breakfast, with the option to upgrade. A budget-friendly place - affordable, but comes with all the charm of a traditional bed & breakfast. Super-friendly, helpful hosts; very personable, with a genuine passion for running their establishment. 10/10 would stay again. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Bed & Breakfast

Had an amazing couple of nights. The hosts were fantastic couldn’t do enough. The guest house was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Even when we locked key in room nothing was too much trouble and was sorted within 10 mins.  Looking forward to staying again when we visit Blackpool.

Amazing

Just spent a fantastic week at the Oakleigh.Sean and Irene they certainly look after you. The rooms are comfy and  well appointed with an ensuite .The cooked breakfast is an extra charge at £4.00 totally worth a true master piece! I would recommend  this guest house to any one its fantastic.I would only stop here from now on.Thanks for such a pleasant stay Im much obliged.

Another excellent stay at Oakleigh house Sean & Irene look after you from start to finish to make your stay 100% enjoyable,rooms are nice and cooked breakfast is great sean makes the best poached eggs,been staying here for 5 years and would not stay anywhere else when in blackpool.

Weekend away to blackpool

Incredible. Mark and Sean know exactly what they are doing and the fine detail in their service makes this place stand apart from the 50+ other Blackpool B&Bs I've stayed in over the years. This typical Victorian guest house stands out for its exceptionally modern and clean rooms, the high quality toiletries instead of cheap, wasteful little pots, mirrors in all the right places instead of craning your neck, a powerful shower on the top floor instead of that trickly dribble I've experienced in other places. The finest B&B breakfast I've ever experienced where fresh coffee comes in a cafetiere not a tin teapot, hand-cut cubes of butter replacing wasteful, hard butter sachets, mushrooms and tomatoes cooked to perfection, an actual tasty sausage replaces those tasteless catering sausages you often get in a B&B and the eggs.. well I've never eaten an egg so good. The hospitality of these gents was exceptional, we felt like we'd known each other for years. This is a genuine review, see all the others on here and my photo. An exceptional place for the price for which the owners should be incredibly proud. Yes, twin room was a bit pokey for two big lads, but the smart design created some space and the high quality mattresses and comfy sheets made for three super comfy nights .. and some long sleepy mornings. A fully earned 5 stars.

One of a kind. 

After seeing this place on Four in a Bed, we decided to book it for a Blackpool trip coming out of lockdown. 

Great location just up the road from the Pleasure Beach, so it was easy to get to most places.

The hotel itself was very clean and we were welcomed on arrival. Our room was spotless and we found it very comfortable. 

We had breakfast on one of our two days there and it was great and really tasty made with high quality ingredients. It was nice to be able to chat with both these guys for a while after breakfast and we will certainly be returning when we are in Blackpool again

Great, clean hotel with amazing hosts, brilliant breakfast and well located too.

I stayed for 3 nights while doing a course, received a very warm welcome on arrival and was shown my room. Spotless with complimentary tea and coffee. It was Smashing breakfast selection as well.
