After reading reviews on here was extremely worried about my forthcoming booking.  My concerns turned out to be unfounded.  Yes it is dated but it had character too, not just a bland box of a room.  We had a lovely sea view from our room and were ideally placed for Tenby.   Breakfast was made to order and lots of choice.  Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about Tenby.  We stayed two nights and our room was cleaned each day.   At night it was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep.  Ideally situated for the beach and the train station.   I would stay again, we did so much in Tenby that it was just a base camp.   Wifi isn’t great in Tenby but we didn’t go away to use our phones so it wasn’t a big deal.

Very nice acommodation, room was spacious and well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Very well situated right next to the beach and town centre. Would certainly come back again!

Great mini break

Stayed here on the Friday of LCW so was just using it as somewhere to get my head down after the swim on the Friday evening before a early start on the bike on Saturday morning. Was allowed to keep my bike in my room which was great. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy. Yes the place is a little old fashioned but as I was only there to get a few hours kip in between events then I was happy just to be in such a great location. I was leaving before their normal breakfast times of 8:30-9:30 but in fairness the landlady offered to make me breakfast earlier which I couldn’t fault. Turned the offer down though because a full English isn’t my normal pre race breakfast and didn’t want any upset guts! All in all I was satisfied with my stay here. If you want luxury, go somewhere else. If you just want a centrally located comfy bed for the night without all the bells & whistles then you can’t go wrong here.

Taormina Guest House  slighty dated but made to feel very welcome. Bedding clean .breakfast good. Plenty on offer car park very close. Which cost £20 for 72 hours . Ideal location for staying / strolling inTenby.

I think some of the reviews on here are totally over the top. Rooms are a bit dated but bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine and was obviously freshly cooked. Nice welcome from everyone of the staff. Great location 2 mins from centre and car park at corner of street. I would stay there again. 

Nice place

Was apprehensive after reading the reviews on here, but a great place to stay for a couple of nights, close to everything Tenby has to offer, bed was comfortable, room was clean and tidy, that's all you need really 👍

66th birthday 

Not the most attractive building in the street and definitely in need of a facelift however the room was clean with a nice enough view. 
The room was warm, tea and coffee available and the shower was lovely and warm. 
Breakfast was served at a reasonable time and was presented well. Cereal and yogurt as well as different juices were available for you to help yourself.  
I have stayed in nicer B&B’s in Tenby but for a cheap night away don’t rule this one totally out.

Half term break

We stayed here recently for our Anniversary.  We arrived round 3pm there was no one to be seen inside. There was two bells with a sign saying ring bell for attention.  Both myself and my wife rang the bell several times and no one came. More guests arrived and tried the bell and still no sign of anyone.  After waiting 10mins one of the other guest phone the hotel number but there was no answer.  After ring the bell again. A man appeared from what seem to be a door under the stairs and said sorry I fell asleep.  
We were shown to our room which was on the ground floor. The room was small and very dated. It looked like a room in a care home more than an hotel. The bed was comfortable but there was no chance of a lie in as the room was next to the dinning room which was quite noise first thing in the morning.  We went for breakfast the following morning.  The man that showed us to our room appeared again. He was walking back and forth muttering under his breath that he couldn't find the menus. When we did get a menu we ordered toast a a full English.  We received our full English which consisted of one sausage, a piece of hard bacon, some cold beans and mushroom and a tomato.  We never received to toast we ordered.  The hotel is not in a bad location as its close to South Beach and town. But it does need updating and some TLC.

I dislike giving negative reviews as I know business can fluctuate in quality but I'm sorry to say this is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

The property is very, very dated - this isn't a problem to us at all as it adds character most of the time but the hotel was unfortunately also dirty and has quite the aroma. Our room was on the top floor and was very dirty - mould everywhere, dirty stained sheets on the beds, shelves that were caked in dust, an old bobble full of hair that wasn't ours and so on. The en suite was fully carpeted and had a bad smell to it - I had to put my shoes on at night to go to toilet as the carpet was really gross, with mould around the toilet and shower base.

Both myself and my partner broke out in a rash after our first night and we have never had any skin sensitivity issues before, this got worse as our stay went on which we put down to the bedding.

The breakfast was fine in the morning but due to the state of the rest of the hotel we elected to eat elsewhere instead. This is all unfortunate as the owners are really friendly and kind.

If it wasn't iron man weekend, we'd have gone anywhere else and cut our visit short but all other hotels were full. I'd strongly encourage those looking to book this hotel to think twice unfortunately, I realise this is one of the cheapest hotels in Tenby but there is a reason. Spend the extra. 

Dated and Dirty but Pleasant Owners

Stayed for one night only, room looked fine initially, but it was not cleaned properly.
Bathroom had an old grubby carpet and smelled. Shower was really dirty, sink is outside the bathroom and as I moved the sink plug it was black with dirty gunk on the underside, disgusting.
Did not eat breakfast.
Not recommende justd.
