We had a lovely time we stayed in one of the little cottages which had three bedrooms that allow dogs made us very welcome dog bowls, dog treats, and the place was just perfect. I would reckon anybody to stay in the cottage or in the main hotel. Breakfast was nice, the grounds of magnificent I would go again and again I really enjoyed myself. Hopefully, one day the tea room will be open and go for tea.

Unbelievably good

Wow, what can I say? This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning in every way possible. And I'm looking forward to returning one day.

The decor of the rooms is of a very high standard. As for the bathroom,  amazing!
If I had to say anything negative is that I felt the quilt could have done with been a thicker heavier tog, but that is my only criticism.  They provided a portable  electric radiator,  so that was suffice to keep me warm. The joys of being single!

Absolutely stunning Lady Hamilton Double room

Attentive and helpful on the on the phone prior to visiting, comfortable, cosy, beautiful setting for a pre breakfast stroll. Very helpful at breakfast around dietary requirements, could have done with a bit more certainty around cooked breakfast items, but answered all questions with care and offered to get more/ other bits. Was beautiful in very early spring, can imagine it being even more special during the sunnier months. Didn’t get to use all the indoor seating areas due to time, but all looked incredibly inviting. Will definitely bear in mind for future visits.

Perfect last minute 1 night stay on route

Beautiful place, my daughter and I stayed for one night only, immaculately clean, the bed was so comfortable, breakfast fabulous,and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Great location very peaceful.perfect stay for us.

Perfect stay

Fabulous hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were superb. Decor was modern and the hotel bed was lovely. Everything was spotless. We stayed two nights and can't wait to book again when in the area. Parking was free.

Brilliant hotel in superb grounds. 

Just got back from such a wonderful stay at Scarborough Hill Country Inn. Upon reading the reviews and having an email sent to me telling me there would be no staff around during my stay so the keys would be left on the desk in an envelope and there would be no cooked breakfast offering I was fully prepared for it to be pretty much room only accommodation with very little contact from staff. However I was pleasantly surprised when we went to check in (early in the day just on the off chance the room might be ready) that there was somebody on reception and a cleaner there as well both were very friendly and welcoming explained where everything was and the cleaner even took us to our room (the stables) and showed us where everything was. Couldn’t fault the service it was fantastic! The room itself was beautiful, so clean, cosy and modern. It felt like being at home. They even left a bottle of water and some chocolate in the room for us! The apartment consisted of a large kitchen/lounge, 2 bedrooms and a very modern bathroom. The Wifi was wonderful throughout our stay, we never had any signal problems at all. The views are gorgeous all around and the hotel itself is stunning! Breakfast we was very unsure about as on the piece of paper we were given on check in said again that only a small continental offering would be available. We still decided to go and have a look and if it wasn’t great we would use the sister hotel advertised (Hotel Wroxham), however we were amazed at what was on offer! A full English (buffet style), fresh berries, cereal, granola, muesli, natural yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, toast and they even had smoked salmon! It was the best breakfast I have ever had staying away. It was so tasty! The lady who was on at breakfast time to serve tea and coffee was so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you. I enjoyed my stay here so much that as soon as I got home that night I booked to return next year for longer! I really hope it’s as great next year as it was this year I’m sure it will be! The only snag we found was we’d booked a Wednesday midweek in the hopes that it wouldn’t be quite as busy as weekends in Cromer albeit still being the summer holidays! What we didn’t realise is this was the biggest day of the year as it was the Cromer carnival and we really struggled to get taxis to take us into Cromer and back again because none of them wanted to drive into the town. So be aware of that if you book on the third Wednesday in August! But that is no fault of the hotel ofcourse just thought I would add that info to be helpful!
All in all a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

Lovely characterful house set in its own grounds, very nice  en suite room with all the little extras, ( bottles of water , biscuits,  tea and coffee etc , plus Large TV and WiFi ).
Very comfortable bed and soft pillows.?
Good choice of  help yourself continental or tradional  cooked food for breakfast as well as polite staff.
Wished we had stayed for several more days and would certainly go back there again. 


2 night break

Visited the North Walsham area to watch our son play rugby, and would normally choose a more central City hotel. However, my wife came up with Scarborough Hill, which represented great value. We weren't worried about it being more rural, as we were driving. The hotel is beautifully presented, furnishings and rooms were tasteful with nice touches everywhere. The bathroom was brand new and the towels were fluffy and everything was spotlessly clean. Crisp sheets, plump pillows. It also smelt fantastic too.
Breakfast was everything I hoped, great selection. Wendy was so welcoming and the only other staff member was courteous and very pleasant.
Best value hotel we've stayed at for a long time. We will definitely come back

Exceeded all expectations

Beautiful place highly recommend. Everything was absolutely perfect. A wonderful room with comfy bed and pillows. Adjustable heating and lots of complementary tea and coffee choices.
The breakfast was delicious and again so much choices. Excellent value for money a real little gem.

Perfect in every way

Called and booked Friday lunchtime and turned up later that same evening. We stayed in the Lady Hamilton Suite which was immaculate, cosy and very comfy. Big king bed, bathtub and shower all recently updated by the looks of it with Elemis miniatures. Everything you need in the room from tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuits, glasses, bottled water & a corkscrew. Gardens and grounds add to the rural feel and a great location for getting to all the nearby places to visit. Breakfast was included and had everything you could want from bacon & sausage to smoked salmon, cereals, toast & waffles - the host Wendy was so lovely and helped out with some recommendations of things to do. Will definitely be recommending this little gem to family/friends and look forward to returning ourselves.
