Stayed at The Chymes for a few days in July 2023. Less than 5min from beach and St Anne's prom. Stayed in Flat 4 which was very bright and well laid out. Good use of space and bedroom had lots of room to put suitcase etc. Lovely kitchen area. Great amount of natural light coming into the flat.
Car Parking a bit tight if you have a bigger car but ample parking available outside.
Would definitely use this again as location was excellent.

Excellent St Anne's holiday flat

Disgusted by whole experience. The Chymes has 4 seperate flats however they advertise the luxury pictures for all so when I booked it I thought we were getting the luxury flat with large livibg room and balcony not the dingy flat we got on the second floor with no windows or natural light. I contacted booking.com for a refund however they said advertising was done to the owner. To the owners credit he did call me but said the blame lay with booking.com. both agreed there had been false advertising but i have srill not received a refund. I left the flat after 15 minutes and stayed with friends and contacted booking.com to advise who norified the owner so not only did they agree the flat had been advertised incorrectly thay also knew i never stayed there but after 1 month i have still not received a refund and both have stopped replying to my emails. I beleive they no longer advertis on booking.com as a result however this still doesnt help me.

False advertising

We have just left from a 3 night stay here for our first staycation as a family. Overall the place was lovely, very clean and tidy just a short walk from town centre and a  2 minute walk to the beach. The place had everything you would need. Very spacious and fine for us, we had two adults and 9 week baby and fit everything we needed. 
A few drawbacks to this place is the walls are very thin, we could hear a person in the surrounding flats snoring and kids running about upstairs. But we would definitely go back for the location and stay here again.

Lovely stay at this hotel

We found this property on booking.com and it seemed an ideal place to stay nwìtb our grandson near the beach
On arrival we unloaded and proceeded to locate our room,   I assumed from the batch of photos on the website that it was on the first oor with a balcony but no we were room 3 right at the top with a window in the roof
I am disabled and find walking very difficult so 36 stairs were going to be a big problem, I had stated on the website about this and hoped a mistake had been made, but sadly not
The room was quite dark even on a sunny day 
On over inspection of the rooms, there was a fairly dirty bedroom carpet and  otherwise av aquood sized room 
The kitchette was OK with all we needed although the pans had seen better days and for me unusable and the sink drain smelt of something masty
The lounge part was ok in size, the sofa was very lumpy and overowing with 6 large cushions 
The bathroom was quite small and the sink had a broken plug, the shower floor was dirty and there were no grab rails, so not at all disabled friendly
All in all a bad choice on our part, 
My last point is that after paying over £500 to stay 4 nights we had to pay coins into a it meter for our electric
Would not want to stay here again, I feel it is overpriced for what you get and that the website is misleading

Disappointed

Arrived to find someone in our room. Spoken with owner who firstly said he wasn’t expecting us until tomorrow (Saturday) then changed it to he didn’t have our reservation. 4 hour round trip what a waste of time.

Awful

Stayed in apartment no1 for 5 nights during July.  Within walking distance of Royal Lytham St Annes Golf course so ideal location for me.  Also close to the beach and the town shops. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything you would want for a self catering holiday.  The surrounding area was quiet, with a good fish & chip shop and a very good Italian restaurant just round the corner.  There is parking on the property but it is a bit tight so I parked just outside on the road with no problems.  I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed here for the golf

Well equipped and clean accommodation, a home from home. Safe car parking. We felt secure in the apartment and will be back. Great chippy around the corner. Handy location for St.Anne's, Lytham and Blackpool.

A few days in St Annes

Stayed here for the week, it was central to the beach and shops, the apartment was really good, clean and tidy, fully equipped with everything we needed,it was quiet and relaxing, would definitely stay here again.

Apartment

A good location within walking distance of the sea front, only a short way from the Pier, the main shopping centre is also close. We were in room 3 (top floor, an attic).The flat itself is small, and up a very steep staircase, but well equipped and comfortable. The main bedroom was a very cosy soft double bed. Our bathroom a reasonable shower room combined with toilet, no bath. The roof is very low in the second bedroom. One of the beds is almost unusable for the lowness of the eaves; it would be easy to bang your head. Nice leather sofas. I’d say a good flat for three people but not four.

Adequate 

We came up for the local kite festival and chymes apartments proved us with the perfect base to explore the area with are 2 children. On arrival we was greeted by Peter  who welcomed us then his partner Merlin showed us to are room which was spotless clean with plenty of room for us with freeview tv and free wifi and all the equipment for cooking oven hob, microwave, kettle and toaster spacious fridge freezer. Chymes apartments is in a great position it is situated near the beach with local shops around the corner which provide all u could need and a short 10 min walk to saint annes square shopping centre. Thanks again for a lovely stay we would recommend chymes to anybody who want to stay in saint annes
