Lovely three day stay. The ensuite with bath was fantastic. Lovely cooked breakfast. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. Slept so well. Richard is lovely host. He has great knowledge of the local area. Provided great recommendations.

I recently stayed three nights at Brynderwen on my own. Richard was very welcoming and helpful with any queries and I felt completely at ease there.  The bedroom was very comfortable and clean with a spacious ensuite.  As I didn't want to go out in the evenings I made full use of the downstairs living room with comfy sofas, TV and the kettle for tea/coffee and was so pleased to have proper milk supplied in the fridge.  Though very rural and peaceful, the property was easy to find.  I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for a dark skies event - perfect location (approx 20mins).
Lovely property and a beautiful setting. 
We had the downstairs room which was ensuite, with shared lounge/kitchen/dining. We had everything we could need. 
Breakfast was delicious (veggie/vegan option available on request too).

Welcoming & interesting hosts who gave great local tips about events in that weekend & local walks.

What a jewel. Located in the village of Talyllyn surrounded by beautiful countryside and with amazing views. Only a short distance from Brecon. Greeted by Richard the perfect host, helpful and friendly ensuring I had everything for my stay. The property is stunning, beautifully decorated and furnished and very clean. My room was lovely with an en-suite with walk in shower.  To cap it all I woke to a delicious cooked breakfast to set me up for the day.

We recently stayed at Brynderwen for 2 nights and would happily book again if we were holidaying in the Brecon area. Our room had a lovely view out to a hill. At breakfast (which was excellent), Richard told us it was called Allt yr Esgair and explained how we could walk up to the top for a fabulous 360 degree view. He also recommended local cafes and pubs. A smashing stay. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed at Brynderwen for 2 nights as part of a road trip to Brecon. This B&B is set in a beautiful location and very accessible for the surrounding towns, villages and walks (including Pen Y Fan).  The building is well presented and the rooms are clean and perfectly serviceable. Lovely and quiet too. Richard, the owner and host, was polite and accommodating and serves a fabulous breakfast….you won’t go hungry! Local pubs are all around for lunch and dinner. 

The accommodation shares a communal lounge and kitchen area so plenty of space. The other guests were all nice and we hardly notice them. Parking for 3 or 4 cars, outside seating area (could probably do with some more tables and chairs TBH) but plenty of outdoor space. 

Definitely recommend this as a place to stay…Richard takes direct bookings so may be worth a direct call to see what’s available and the price.

What a little Gem, Richard was Amazing so courteous and very helpful, the building is an old farmhouse, lots of space, in a lovely area, definitely  recommended, the breakfast was very nice too. Easy access just. Few miles to nearest little village with a pub Called the Black Cock Inn, lovely food, also recommended

Only stayed the one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Richard was a great host and went above and beyond. We asked whether the football was on anywhere locally and he took it upon himself to ring around and find us somewhere to watch!

The property is right in the middle of stunning scenery. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, even dealing with two picky vegetarians 😊 would thoroughly recommend

It was our first time staying at Brynderwen and I’m certain that it won’t be our last. Richard is a fantastic host and made us all feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this guest house. Stunning location and excellent stay!

My family and I stayed in Brynderwen Farm for two nights from 04 May to 05 May 2018 when I did the Brecon Beacon Ultra 2018.  The B&B is excellent!! Richard and Surinder who are the proprietors of the B&B are very excellent hosts. I cannot fault this B&B. 
The room is very spacious and so is the bathroom with strong, hot water. The host Richard is a local who grew up around the area and he knows intimate details and knowledge of the area. Richard cooked us a full english breakfast and it was very delicious especially the grilled tomatoes which were sweet!! 
I had read a reviewer who had moaned about not having a kettle in their room. There are only three rooms in the B&B. It is only a few steps down the the stairs to get to the kettle to make yourself a cup of tea!!  There is also free wifi in the B&B. Although it does states children under 10 not allowed, do ring Richard up and tell him; he is a very gracious and unscrupulous host. He might even give you a discount if you ask him nicely!! :D
