Friendly family run Barn. Well stocked fridge and kitchen and well maintained barn, and all kitted out for disabled access. Beautiful views and situated central on the island for easy access anywhere you want to go.

Wonderful holiday in a great place. So good to find a purpose built cottage for guests with a range of disabilities. 
The thought that's gone into providing everything is outstanding. 
Lots of indoor and outdoor games to keep us occupied in any weather!!!
Sarah and Neil were super hosts. Nothing too much trouble, and reassuring they're on site should you need them.
Fabulous welcome pack with lots of scrummy food. 
The hot tub was the icing on the cake. 

It's good that it's positioned in the centre of the island, so that wherever you want go isn't too far away. 

Will definitely return

Great Summer 23 Holiday

Weve had the most wonderful holiday. Sarah has looked after us fantastic and been very understanding and welcoming. The accommodation is perfectly suited for anyone with disabilities and a true pleasure to stay in. When we arrived we was greeted with fresh bread and eggs from the chickens. The location is nice and rural with very close proximity to the major supermarkets in the nearby Newport. Thank you again to sarah for what a marvellous job she does. We cant wait to come back next year

Red Barn

Sarah and Neil are great hosts and the Red Barn is a beautiful place to stay and kitted out to suit disabled wheelchair users, Hoists are available to hire for the duration of your stay from Island Mobility who deliver it prior to your arrival so it is already to go..
  The site is beautiful and very quiet with decking or a fenced garden to enjoy.
Not only that Blackwater Hollow, Rookley is so Central you are never more than 40 minute drive from anywhere on the Island, we averaged 10-20 minutes, with only the Needles at 30-40 minutes drive.
 This was our second visit and we will definitely be back again.

Absolute Gem of a Site to stay in

This Barn is excellent well equipped for disabled families or groups, clean and spacious in beautiful quiet surroundings. Rookley is situated in almost the middle of the Island so you are never too far from anywhere and there is a great selection of places to go and eat or cook your own in the kitchen which had a fully stocked fridge I might add.
 If the chickens co-operate you will get a few fresh eggs as well.
 If any extra equipment is required this can be hired from Island Mobility and they deliver it on site so it is ready to use when you get there, we hired a portable hoist.
 It was fantastic to Holiday as a complete family with our disabled daughter.

The Red Barn has everything needed to make a person with a disability feel at home and comfortable. You had the best equipment we have come across in a holiday rental.

The welcome basket of goodies was very welcome, especially the free range eggs from your chickens and the chocolate cake.

I recommend The Red Barn for anyone who has mobility issues.

Fantastic location and facilities

Love the area and the disabled adapted acess. Our family are always welcomed by Sarah and her lovely family of dog's on arrival with warm bread , cake and welcome pack with fridge goodies.  Thanks a million.  X
