We stayed in the Hop Pickers House which is very rustic but spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The king size four poster bed was very comfortable. The large garden, woodland area and stream makes this an ideal location for dog owners. Stephen and Steven were excellent hosts and the complimentary damson jam was delicious. There was plenty of space for parking next to the cottage. We would highly recommend this property for a relaxing break.

Very quiet and relaxing

Stayed at Hop Pickers cottage, on Brook farm, self catering super cosy very old grain store/ pig pen conversion! Absolutely fantastic, clean, tidy, well equipped and so comfortable. It is just perfect for a couple to getaway from it all, so quiet and lively surroundings. Stephen an Steven are on hand should you need them, and you are able to wander their beautiful 9 acres. There is a woodland walk around the property which is great for an evening stroll.

These guys have something unique here, I highly recommend. Also try Stephen’s home made jams…yuuum! Thx guys. Nick and Jo, Cooper and Murdoch.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Mmm where to start.... The Hen House is an amazing cottage, the perfect place for an escape.  It is immaculate - crisp clean bedding, towels and seating.  In these trying times I would highly recommend, brilliant standards of hygiene. 

Located in a peaceful setting the Hen House is set in a beautiful location. The hosts are on hand if you need them. There is parking on site which is easily accessed from the road. 

Located in stunning gardens with ample grounds to take our dogs for a walk- not sure who loved it more.

Anniversary escape

Where do I start? Hen House is such a beautiful cottage in the most tranquil farm. Just what I needed. Great location for finding local walks, hikes and pubs. The cottage is cosy, but clean and we are already looking at dates to return. This is one of the best weekends I have had, just wished we could have stayed longer. I am returning feeling refreshed.

A hidden gem...... just what we needed

Had a 2 night break away at Hop Pickers Cottage last weekend for my husband's birthday.  What a treat.  Such a romantic place where time stands still.  The cottage is tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Lovely to meet the hosts, Stephen and Steven.  Was greeted with chocolates for my husband's birthday, flowers, organic milk and homemade produce, thank you.  Had a ramble around the grounds, would love to visit again in the summer.  Would definitely recommend.

Romantic and relaxing

Brook Farm and the Hop Pickers Cottage was owned by my Grandparents for many years. My Grandfather used to dry his tobacco that he grew in the Hop Pickers House.
It is a lovely place to walk at the farm, go down to the river. 
Lots of lovely towns are nearby.
Tenbury has a good range of takeaways and restaurants.
The Hop Pickers house is very romantic, beautifully presented and very private.
I would most certainly return.

This is my Grandparents Old House.

I stayed for a weekend in the Hen House and found it the perfect retreat from the city.  A relaxing place with attentive hosts.  The room was clean and obviously stocked and furnished with loving attention to detail.

On arrival there was indeed a problem with the TV, but I spoke to our host Willy who dealt with it quickly and efficiently (he re-tuned the channels which seemed to do the trick).

I particularly enjoyed the gardens, for which it is true that they are not all carefully manicured lawns and beds but provide a perfect mix of serene country garden time-out space and some rambling woodland behind the property suitable for a wander after dinner.

A tranquil getaway...

Brook Farm is more than a few country cobwebs.   It is a very special to stay for a few days. The Hen House is relaxed, calm and peaceful with a private sitting out space, perfect for a glass of wine in the late summer evening sunshine. The welcome pack is just that, welcome.   The rest of the outdoor space which totals about eight acres is like an enchanted garden in a child's story. The perfect film set location; I'm sure it will be one soon.  I'm sorry the previous reviews couldn't be charmed by Brook Farm, they missed out on such a lot.

How wrong can a reviewer be.....

Sorry to say this place did not live up to expectations,or the website.Clearly there is a problem. The garden was very neglected and untidy,the parking was extremely tight,the cottage was a bit gloomy,also cobwebby and dusty.Television reception was poor, and the lighting in the sitting room insufficient for reading in comfort. The local soaps and toiletries were non existant. Clearly a disppointment after reading the website and earlier reviews.
