My wife & I stayed 2 nights at the Springdale guesthouse 23rd & 24th November 
This was by far the best ever B&B we have stayed at. Before we even set off on the Saturday lunchtime Caroline had messaged me explaining about the weather and to take care on our journey down to Harrogate. When we arrived Nigel greeted us and showed us to our room. He explained everything to us from the keys to recommending restaurants & pubs. A very friendly guy!
The room was lovely & warm with an en suite the shower was powerful & lovely and hot depending on how you wanted it. There is a mini fridge with complimentary drinks including cans of coke, still & sparkling water and milk for tea & coffee which is also provided.
There were quality street chocolates and a small bottle of Merlot red wine! Lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, a good size smart TV and a plenty of storage for clothes etc. 
We met Caroline the next morning at breakfast, she is also a very friendly & welcoming person. The breakfast was excellent, started with a warm fruit compote with walnuts, Greek style yogurt & honey. There are also various cereals to choose from. We then had the full English breakfast, very tasty and plentiful with fresh orange juice tea or coffee. Very enjoyable 
Nigel & Caroline are amazing people and I count them as friends now and we will definitely be returning I recommend this this anyone as it is well worth a visit

Best ever B&B amazing!!

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights, arriving Friday 11th - Sunday 13th October 2024
Greeted on arrival by host Caroline, warm and friendly greeting, shown to our room upon arrival.

Our room was absolutely beautiful with a view over Spring Grove.
Meticulously clean, great amount of storage space, wonderfully comfortable bed with beautiful duvet, bedding etc.
Coffee making facilities in the room with lovely extras such as bottled water, cans of coke and fresh milk, chocolates and biscuits.

The decor and facilities throughout are beautiful and of high quality, tasteful and very well thought through.

We had booked breakfast for both mornings and we both enjoyed a full English which was absolutely perfect, quality products used and plentiful, there were other options available which looked delicious.

We met Caroline’s husband Nigel at breakfast and I can only say what very pleasant and informative hosts they both were, was a pleasure to chat with them both and nothing was too much trouble.

The guest house is in a perfect location for all that Harrogate has to offer and parking permits are given upon arrival.

I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Harrogate, you will not be disappointed in any way.

Caroline & Nigel, we thank you for being the perfect hosts and it has been a pleasure to meet you both during our stay.
I am certain that we shall return very soon.

Absolute perfection 😊

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Caroline & Nigel. You can not fault your beautiful B&B. Welcoming from the minute you walk through the front door. Our room was perfect, so beautifully decorated and spotless. The Surprise little touches in your room on arrival make it that extra special. The smell of fresh bread when you woke up was lovely. Breakfast is perfectly presented and very tasty.  I would recommend your bed and breakfast to everyone. Thank you Sansha & Mark

Had a lovely stay here, what a fab find! Room was lovely, lots of nice touches that just make it a little more personal! Great hosts who are very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Harrogate! Perfect location too.

My new favourite B&B

Wow, we had the best time at Springdale guest house Caroline and and Nigel were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room was amazing and very clean and beautifully kept. The breakfast was first class with the best ingredients' we could not ask for more. It has been without a doubt the best place we have stayed in and will most certainly be making a return trip. a little peace of heaven just outstanding.

Amazing stay...

We stayed for three days in April in a beautiful room. The room was spotless and the decor was very stylish. The owner’s were very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. A nice touch was a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room (it was our wedding anniversary) We had an excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. I’m sure we will stay again and can recommend it to anyone.

An excellent place to stay

Had a wonderful stay, Caroline and Nigel could not be more accommodating, the rooms and food are excellent, the location is central to the town and just a short distance to the Yorkshire event centre. 
We shall look forward to our next visit to lovely Yorkshire.

Excellent away from home, home.

Thank you Caroline and Nigel for a wonderful stay. Both hosts were delightful, nothing was too much effort. Caroline, warmed up my food after a very long journey and having not had chance to eat my lunch, Caroline also made me a salad to go on the side to no extra cost. Nigel gave me a lift to the station on my way home, again no cost. The food was delicious. The room was stunning and very comfortable. I couldn’t fault this stay at all, absolutely perfect and hope to visit again before the couple retire. However, I am in favour of them having a rest and enjoying their grandchildren x

Beautiful Guesthouse

A warm welcome from Nigel and Caroline, the perfect hosts! Nigel insisted on carrying our bags to our room and offered friendly advice for our one night stay. Our room was just lovely! Quality bedding and towels (even a dark towel and mitt for those folk who want to apply fake tan! A great idea!) everything was spotlessly clean. There were drinks and chocolates and wine in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities. Very comfortable mattress! Breakfast was yummy! Piping hot full cooked breakfast after fruit, yoghurt and cereal if you wanted it. With a parking permit and a 7 minute walk into the town it is a perfect place to stay in Harrogate!! Thank you both for a very warm welcome ☺️

The perfect place to stay in Harrogate!

Upon opening the front door there was a lovely warm & friendly welcome from Caroline. Quickly showed us to our room and explained everything that we needed to know. You pick up immediately that she has a passion for what she does. 
The breakfast was spot on, the smell hit you as you opened the bedroom door. We ran downstairs with our noses in the air like the Bisto kids adverts. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Very tasty indeed. The freshly made homemade bread toasted every morning was a nice touch. (Thanks Caroline and Nigel) 
Caroline gave us great advice on where in Harrogate was good to eat out which suited our tastes (and she was right, everything we had out was lovely). We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to return to this little gem in the perfect location and have a short gentle scenic walk into Harrogate.
