Rooms basic too expensive for what you get .we're there for 3 nights no housekeeping. Man on reception blamed covid . Joke nobody told us this .staff in restaurant were great but prices were something else no cereal if you were having cooked breakfast .wouldn't recommend this place .

Not the best

Had a 3 day stay at Witchwood house. Friendly gent welcomed us at the reception next to the Saucy Mary bar, and walked us along to the house about 50 years along the road. Stayed in room 3 which was clean and very homely, also dog friendly. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We had a meal and a few drinks in the Saucy Mary as well as breakfast. Food was good, and the staff were also friendly, Also dog friendly. Would happily book here again. The village was very quiet and made our relaxing break all the more enjoyable.

Lovely Stay

Thought we had booked Glenarroch B&b, sign on door to book in at saucy Mary’s, then was taken to witchwood house, all clean and comfortable, breakfast at saucy Mary’s good, also had evening meal there, would happily go back 

Scotland tour

My husband and I had a double room (room 5) upstairs and my mother/sister in law a twin room (room 3) on the ground floor in the main house.   The rooms were very clean, the beds so comfortable/linen spotless.  Bathrooms clean with excellent showers.
On our first night we had dinner in Saucy Mary's next door and this was brilliant.  
At breakfast next morning there was a good choice - we had a mix of hot / continental breakfasts between us and these were all excellent.  We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast quality both mornings remained the same.
Staff were really nice and a special shout out to the girl with short hair and glasses (didn't get her name) - she was lovely.
The twin room was on the ground floor and had a sea view - beautiful location.
I'm reluctant to say anything negative but the noise levels were a bit of a bother.  We could hear every word of the guests staying in the room through the wall plus them generally moving about.
My mother in law's room..... the front door is a fire door and they really struggled to sleep because of people coming in and leaving.  I think a notice on the door asking guests to close it quietly and not let it bang shut would be necessary and respectful to the guests staying nearby.
Obviously a good night's sleep is important so the noise levels were a problem.
Overall though we were very happy with our accommodation.

Really good

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst on business with the fire service and i really enjoyed my stay . I stayed at Witchwood house ( the one to the left hand side of Saucy Marys as you look at it )  The room was large en suite and the internet was 35 meg! This was a huge plus for me as i do stream a lot ! It was also very clean  and the house made was lovely and always made sure i was fully stocked up each day with tea , coffee and biscuits . The breakfast and meals were at Saucy Marys and although the menu was not big i thought the food was fantastic and always piping hot ! My highlight of the stay was Roscell ! She is lovely  , funny  , and made me laugh a lot ! She works so hard and i respect her a lot for that !  I will definitely be back next time i visit skye . Oh and thank you for my Saucy Marys T-Shirt Roscell ! :-) Your were awesome !!

Brilliant !!

What a great little B&B!   
It is a little deceiving when you go to check in as they run several properties including a hostel.   We found this house to be charming, clean and very comfortable.  We enjoyed a good nights sleep, and woke up refreshed and ready for our day on the Isle

Wonderful

canceled....last minute...We had held a reservation for more than three months. Frequent communications with Witchwood/Glenarroch.  The night before we were to arrive, the hotel emailed to say our room was canceled. No other explanation; abject apologies.  To their credit they did arrange a room at a place--nice place--30 miles away and on the mainland.  To their discredit I had to contact B--kings.com and plea for a refund.  I should have read more of the reviews for this greedy, thoughtless, overpriced place.

Pulled the Rug Out from under Us

The room were old, run down. Old sheets. 
Not nice at all.
Only good was the guy in the reception.
The restaurant were we ate breakfirst was not very nice. Not Fresh at all. 
Expensive stay. It could be very good IF they renovated.

Very bad

Stayed here in a rainy night in November. The state of the reception should have rung alarm bells.....it is a dump. Was served by an unsmiling,unfriendly American man and was eventually  directed to one of the cottages fifty yards away, which turned out to be a poorly converted house crammed with tiny bedrooms. The decor is shabby 60’s with a recent coat of emulsion. The only saving grace was that my bedroom was warm and clean, otherwise I would have asked for my money (£85) back. Had I not been desperate I would have moved on. Would I stay here again.......not a chance!  I am not a serial complainer and this the worst review I have ever posted.

We stayed at Glenarroch Bed and Breakfast. The room was a little tiny but it was clean, enough to sleep and enjoy the day. The breakfast was in the restaurant next to the B&B. You can order whatever you want from their breakfast menu (including a full Scottish breakfast). They give you 20% of discount to have dinner in their restaurant. It is a little far more the main attractions in the island but the price is fair.
