Lovely, quaint little place. Stayed for a Pass Out Parade at the ATC so very convenient. Had a few drinks at the ClubHouse - staff were friendly and welcoming, lovely place!

Perfect for a weekend at Bisley.Easy to park, nice large rooms & en-suite bathroom.

Lovely room, friendly staff, breakfast in the cafe was nice aswell. When i booked didn't realise it was a shooting range. But it didn't bother us 1 bit suited us for what we needed, will stay again next time when down that way.

I stayed at St. George's Lodge for one night with my wife on a cold winter's day in December. The room was clean, neat and welcoming. We appreciated the warm room, the welcome tray and the high standard of cleanliness throughout - including the en-suite facilities. There was plenty of storage, a large double bed and TV on the wall. The booking procedure was efficient and friendly. All in al a very pleasant experience and stay.

A good stay at a competitive price

Best described as quirky, the name is much grander than the place itself, the ‘rooms’ are refurbished wooden army buildings, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked with hot water were the plus points.

The walls are paper thin, we could hear the occupants next door snoring and coughing not to mention their phone calls on speaker phone we could almost join in the conversation, along with various ‘bathroom’ noises, thankful there was a blind as the curtains had gaps when drawn together, the towels need an upgrade as they’re small and thin.

Wouldn’t choose to return, not good value for money.

Quirky

Delighted with the excellent value and good clean self-contained accommodation at this  lodge on Bisley shooting range.
We stayed overnight when visiting family in the area and were very impressed.
Easy access to M3, surprisingly quiet rural location in a colonial style lodge.
Since taking on the management Colin has clearly improved the set up here greatly so ignore old out of date reviews from before his time


Excellent place to stay at Bisley Range

Our stay was for our son's passing out at Pirbright. This was a perfect place to stay. Clean, walm and safe. The negative reviews for this place are out dated and do not reflect this place at all. Would recomend. The cafe down the path served a wonderful breakfast for a very good price. You cannot go wrong. However, if you arrive by train, use Brookwood Cars (taxi) as Queen Street has no footpath. Wondeful place all round.

When I emailed the owner for advice about meals and taxi's there were very formative, approachable 

perfect place for short stay

We visited St George's Lodge for the first time and it was one of them last minute plans trip to the south to go to Chessington and Legoland so I only look for some close to them.

But it turn to more for us as It is in a beautiful setting of rolling countryside and army camping.

The accommodation is clean and well kept, very peaceful too! As good as any of the best hotel rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and en suite shower room. There is access to a club room and bar
and for me I found out it is a shooting range. That was good and I am look to join them and hope to stay again and again and get some round down the rang next time I come,

Was more than I was expecting

Really pleasant rooms, large and well decorated, bathroom excellent with bath and shower over.  Water pressure excellent.  Very clean place and everything works.

Shame the pub on sure wasn’t serving food due to an I’ll see but the cafe was open for snacks and breakfast.

Ascot bolt hole

The lodge is situation in Bisley camp, a very quiet and rural spot, though the sounds of the ranges start around 8.00am each day. Lovely walking out in the evening or early morning as the area is fascinating with a series of very old bungalow buildings more reminiscent of the Raj than modern day.
The lodge itself is a low building consisting of a series of rooms. The double room consists of two double beds, TV, bathroom with bath and shower, plenty of hot water, and room to work. There is free wifi, not too bad when I was there but I suspect it may suffer if all rooms are in use and everyone is on it. One bonus is a fridge, not huge but big enough to keep breakfast items in and have a cuppa before work. Very comfortable beds and a delightful place to stay.
The room was very clean, fresh towels each day and looked after. I didn't expect 4 star, but it did the job well and I would recommend to others.
I didn't eat at any local cafe's so can't comment on those. Brookwood has small convenience stalls and takeaways, and there is a huge Sainsbury's close by as well.

Disliked · As others have mentioned, the walls aren't that thick, so you can hear others in neighbouring rooms. Everyone seemed very respectful of this with no loud TV or voices, but if they could be soundproofed a bit more, that would be ideal, I was awoken by the alarm of someone in the neighbouring room,
