Hosts were fantastic nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly helpful and fantastic company would recommend. They went out of there way to ensure that I had everything that I needed and even checked the weather prior to me leaving the little details went a long way. Thank you for a great stay.

Business trip

Oakdown Court is by far the best B&B I have ever stayed at, in the UK.
From the moment you arrive, you notice how much love and devotion has gone into the place. So much attention to detail, where old meets new and really compliments each other. The inside of the B&B is very modern with modern bathroom facilities, clean and no expenses spared.
The bedroom I stayed in was beautifully decorated with old period pieces, which just worked in the setting. I must admit to taking a few photos to show my wife how beautiful the decor was and how carefully it was thought out! Waking up the next morning to the sound of birds in the trees was just so peaceful and perfect, ifbit was not for my busy business trip I was on, I could have easily extended my stay for a week.
The next morning I enjoyed a lovely continental style breakfast with homemade granola and homemade jams...it just could not be any fresher...all lovingly prepared by Sarah.

After breakfast I left to collect one of my colleagues where he stayed at a local hotel and to say I had picked the better place to stay at, is the understatement of the year.

Oakdown Court B&B oozes with tranquility and is owned by a lovely, trusty, welcoming lady, who just could not do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Thank you Sarah, a lovely place you have and I will recommend you to all my international colleagues visiting for business and holiday.  You get 5 stars from me.



Oozes with tranquility 

Definitely 10 out of 10 for our stay in this stylish bed and breakfast. Tucked away in a quiet and stunning location, this was a nice find!  The room was extremely comfortable. Everything was immaculately and beautifully presented. Crisp linen, fluffy towels and stylish decor...I loved it. Sarah the host was delightful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you 

Gorgeous Bed and Breakfast 

My partner and I booked Oakdown Court B&B after quite a last minute wedding invite to a venue in a village about 8 miles away. We are more used to staying in 4*/5* hotels in cities so were looking for an equivalent B&B....and Oakdown certainly did not disappoint!
On arrival the owner (and his cute dog!) greeted us and instantly made us feel welcome. There is a beautifully kept garden area through to the gorgeous entrance hall. We had the downstairs double bedroom, we were told they only have two rooms, one up and one down. The decor in the room was outstanding, hats off to the interior designer!! It had the cottage feel with a modern style and I found it very impressive. The bed was quite small but not a problem for my partner and I in general as we don't mind sleeping close together. He is 6ft tall and his feet were out the end of the bed a bit, but the ottoman at the end of the bed helped as a foot rest! We found the bed, pillows and bed covers very comfortable. There was tea, coffee, water, and also biscuits in the room, they were a great touch and added to the homely feel of the whole room. The bathroom was a good size for two and, as the bedroom, was impeccably decorated. The shower wasn't as powerful as I am used to at home but it was nice and hot nonetheless. I noticed that the towels provided, although being a bit on the small side for a bath towel, were amazingly soft and some of the best I have used when travelling away! The room also had access to Amazon Prime available on the tv, which we always use at home and was a wonderful addition to the room (Also Netflix but this was stuck on a German setting and we didn't feel the need to ask for the owners to change/sort it).
The breakfast is continental and on the first night's stay we ate in the dining room which looks out to the garden. Again the decore was completely to our taste being very homely and inviting. It was a continental breakfast compromising of natural yogurt with fruit, freshly made toast and delicious jam/ marmalade, croissants, fruit, coffee/tea and juice. It was all delicious and wonderfully served by the owner. The following morning (post heavy day and night at the wedding!) we had to leave earlier than expexted. The owners offered to bring us breakfast on a tray in our room whilst we were getting ready to check out. I was so grateful at how extremely accommodating and kind they were. 
We had a wonderful stay at Oakdown Court for the brief time we were there and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area. 

Beautiful B&B

There is no longer cooked breakfast offered, just a cold continental breakfast. This is also not a place for anyone sensitive to the smell of perfume. Otherwise a good place to stay, especially if you want somewhere quiet.

NO COOKED BREAKFAST

If you need a reason to go to Burwash Common then the Oakdown Court B&B should be reason enough..... it only has 2 rooms, but both are wonderfully decorated (and spotlessly clean) with all the trimmings of a top class hotel.  The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a great choice on offer.  The host was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble..... we would definitely return.
