We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at the Byre at Inchyra. The wedding was at 2 however we were allowed into our rooms early which was super helpful. The lady also put us in touch with other wedding guests so we could drive together. She was super helpful and very friendly. The room was perfect for overnight stay and also great value. Great shower and comfy bed. Lovely breakfast served by same lovely lady. What's not to like about this place. Great value, comfy room, great shower, lovely breakfast and super friendly staff.

Wedding stay

Stayed at the Glencarse Hotel for a wedding at the Byre at Inchyra, just a short walk away.  Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious (the haggis with the breakfast was excellent), rooms were clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be back! 

Lovely overnight stay at Glencarse

Superb overnight visit at Glencarse Hotel, we were visiting Cairn O Moir for winetasting. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have been any more helpful. The food was excellent and well presented. Totally recommend and will definately be back.

Fantastic lunch at the Glencarse Hotel. Food and service both first class and at reasonable prices. Good selection of starters, mains and sweets so spoiled for choice. Can recommend everything. All faultless.

Excellent

Absolutely brilliant place to stay , value for money , easy place to find just off the A90 between Perth and Dundee  , easy parking ,, nice room and facilities , fantastic friendly staff and owners , great little bar with reasonable prices, the food and service is also great .Will definitely be back to stay in the future .👍

Will be back again

We booked all the rooms at the hotel for a wedding party nearby and organised a buffet for 28 people at the hotel. Everyone really enjoyed the buffet, the variety and quality of the food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done in a very friendly and caring way. All the guests who stayed at the hotel were really satisfied with the accommodation and particularly enjoyed the breakfast!

So accommodating, friendly and great food

We stayed here for a wedding at the Byre Inchyra. Lena and her staff are brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our evening meal and the breakfast was super too. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy. She responded to our questions via email quickly which was always appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Our warm welcome to the Glencarse Hotel included a temperature check which ensured that we immediately felt comfortable and Covid-safe in this open and well-spaced out bar.  The wood burning stove was cosy and the menu offered scope for vegetarians and carnivores.  We had a delicious goat’s cheese starter served in the style of tapas followed by traditional main courses for each of us: fish and chips and steak pie.  Coffees were served with beautifully home-baked made shortbread.  Thank you to everyone - we look forward to returning soon.

Sunday lunch by the fire

Visited here for Valentines diner and we were not disappointed. The menu had a very varied choice. The quality taste and presentation of all 3 courses was outstanding. Service by a young wait staff was first class and good value ! I would highly recommend this place for food and will return

Well worth a visit

Yet another great stay, food amazing, entertainment great. Always a  .
great atmosphere best in the 
area. Place was buzzing at Hogmanay. Happy new year to Mike,Lena and all there staff. Thank you all for an excellent time. 

Fishing and soothing in the season for them. Beautiful view from the Cares of Gowrie hills and lots of walk's in the area.                         

Good access to Perth & Dundee as well the Cares of Cowrie on the bus route for the area or by car.
