Rural,Quirky,comfortable and a great place for a getaway. Check in well organised with names on a list against coloured flags....I was welcomed by Ivan the proprietor..what a great character. Good value in being such an unique place in a lovely location.

Great rural retreat

Separate to but in/on the same premises as Clenaghans restaurant. Accommodation - Quaint quirky vibe - not 5star but doesn’t try or claim to be - it’s clean and tidy with a bit of “shabby chic” running through it - for example you arrive into a courtyard also used by the kitchen staff for “smoke breaks”
If you want to eat in the restaurant you’ve to walk back out around on the road or all around the car park. 
Second hand books available in each “room”/apartment to take or donate to. It’s a B&B without a B….
I would/will stay again for overnight and dinner next door in Clenaghans (or it’s a 40min walk to Wine & Brine in Moira😎)
Super value

Quaint quirky and super value

This was a lovely find.  Warm welcome from Ivan lovely apartment called Dolly, with everything in the fridge for breakfast.  Eclectic design and re purposing of old world items used in and around the apartment.  Very clean,  very comfortable sofa and beds.  Safe parking and just a minutes walk from the restaurant.

A drop of the Irish! 

Very nice and quiet very querky and the owners do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible and even give you breakfast in your apartment to cook on your first night. Highly recommend trying this homely place. 10/10 from us.

A break away after cancer treatment

At the time of booking Clenaghans it was asked on the booking form what time would you like to check in I stated 12 noon then to be told you can’t check in until 2-4pm also it asked if you were staying for an occasion I stated it was our tenth wedding anniversary and thought on arrival there would have been a nice complimentary gesture in our room but nothing. I then decided to take a walk and texted the number for Ivan to confirm dinner reservations and got no reply.
Dinner was nice but very expensive and waited 30 minutes on my cocktail before dinner. 
We left the restaurant to head back to our apartment with no light outside the restaurant which was so dark I nearly fell. 
Overall was a nice stay and the cottages cosy and character to them. Think it’s abit over rated.  
Don’t think I would return.

Nice stay but room for improvement

We stayed at Clenaghans for three nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have stayed many times and are never disappointed. The accommodation is second to none it’s very clean and has everything you could want.
We will be back very soon it’s such a great place to stay very peaceful and you can totally relax in the beautiful surroundings.

Excellent

Visited with my brothers to this amazing farmhouse that’s been converted to a very special Inn.  The rooms are charming - very nicely appointed - friendly warm reception.  It was really interesting ti hear the Sir John Lavery connection.  So much history here.

Loved our visit to Clenaghans

I had a wonderful break/work trip here, the cottage was absolutely stunning, the attendtion to deatil faultless and the provisions provided a welcome and made my work output so productive. I had everything i needed, fresh air, no distraction and a comfy bed, shower was a rainfall one and heavenly.  My new favourite workplace, i will be back as soon as i can :)

AMAZING

Myself and my girlfriend spent 3 nights in the beautiful 'Dolly'. It was probably the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in- beautiful and cosy with an incredibly comfy couch. The kitchen had all we needed and Ivan had very kindly left ingredients for a fry, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit and cereal!  The bedroom and bathroom were clean and spacious- there was even a TV in the bedroom also. Moira village is very close by and has fantastic restaurants and fine food shops! We will definitely be back and encourage everyone to stay here!

Can't wait to visit again...

Had the best weekend here, we wanted somewhere nice cosy and private.  The apartment was beautiful had everything you need and felt so homely.  Would really like to get back in the summer to experience the lovely court yard and surroundings in the sun. Fridge was full with everything u need for breakfast and some nice snacks.
