I always stay in Premier Inns if possible because they offer good quality rooms at a good price. This one was noisy from traffic and as the door to the room didn't fit I could hear  everyone outside in the corridor as they walked by. I had two very disturbed nights sleep despite changing room. They were understaffed and the kitchen could not cope with the number of guests staying, Waited 35 minutes for my breakfast order, Not a good choice of meals, Everything with chips. Fish with  soggy batter and luke warm. Prawns in the pasta rock hard because cooked too long. . Went for a two course dinner   at 18.30pm . Still waiting for dessert at 20.30pm 

Woest Premier Inn I have ever stayed  in

We stayed one night to attend a party nearby. The staff were very friendly, the room was good but had only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed to watch TV. The shower was excellent with good pressure and lots of hot water. The room temperature was adjustable so it was very comfortable. There was no desk in the room but we didn't need one. The room was fairly quiet even though our room faced the over spill carpark and the we could see the main road. The TV was very good with lots of TV channels to choose from. Next morning we had cooked breakfast which was very good and value for money. The girl who served was very friendly and nothing was a problem. Overall a pleasant stay. 

One night stay to attend a party

I would stay here again without any second thoughts. The staff were lovely; helpful, cheerful and always available, the accommodation was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really good.

A great place to stay

I would like to say a huge thank you to EVERY member of staff at the hotel who made our stay comfortable during a difficult situation. Our home flooded and we stayed at the hotel for a week. The staff could not have done any more to help and assist us. My mother needed an adapted room and I had a double. Everything we needed was at hand. The restaurant food was lovely. The staff were aware that we were having a difficult time and helped in every way they possibly could. I cannot thank them enough. 
In addition the bed is the most comfy one I have slept in in a long time! Thank you :)

Superb staff, super comfy bed!

Lovely stay on Christmas night with great staff 🥰the breakfast food was very good in the morning & the Christmas gifts left for my granddaughters was a very nice touch which was very appreciated - thank you

Lovely stay

I was sleeping and then a sonic boom alarm at around 150Db with a very large flashing red light suddenly went off in my room, just a few feet from my head. Scared the hell out of me. I jumped out of bed, got dressed and rushed down to reception. I was then told that it was just my room that the fire alarm went off in. Big smile, no problem apparently. It's quite obvious it was a known fault in the next room that set it off.
Upon checkout when I demanded my money back the manager told me he did not have the authority to do anything. I have contacted customer relations and they told me they were not interested. It is perfectly OK to wake up a customer this way. No refund. Not interested.

Sonic boom fire alarm and huge red light went off by my head whilst sleeping, but just my room only

I stayed here for 4 nights on business and the service all in all was pretty good, especially what sounded like an Italian gentleman, who was absolutely exceptional.
It is not one of the newer Premier Inns however the room was fine with large tv, large bed and bath.
The one issue was it was extremely difficult to get in the restaurant and we were turned away or told there would be hours wait on a couple of occasions, despite it not looking that busy really.
All in all not the best, but certainly not the worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed in.

Good Service

I generally like Premier Inns. 
You know what to expect and that's what you get.
 However, I hadn't previously experienced a 'twin' room and found this doesn't really work for me.  You get a nice large double bed, and a smaller single bed pushed against a wall, under the window.  If you lay close to the wall, the cold seeps into you, and if you turn over and away from it, bits of you fall out !
I suppose in expecting 'twin' beds I thought they would both be the same., but that was not to be - which to be fair is what it says on the website now I have looked at it again in more detail.. However, the single bed, doesn't really work well and two single beds, better positioned would be maybe much more comfortable.
 The single bed has no individual night light and no bedside shelf / table. This means that all your 'personal' items, like phone,, glasses, book, tablet, glass of water, earrings, watch etc. have to be put within reach on the floor. Then if you need to go to the bathroom during the night you have to make sure you don't stumble over them whilst groping your way there - without the benefit of a night light within easy reach to be able to see.
Also there were only 3 towels, for two people to shower and hair wash with which was a bit tight when sharing with a partner - and more than one tea bag and coffee sachet would have been nice, as would removing old, stale water, presumably left there by a previous occupant - which was still sitting in the kettle.
On the plus side, the staff were super nice, the parking and location were excellent, and extra tea and coffer were available in the foyer.
The heater thermostat had simple instructions, but had a mind of it's own too. No matter how many times we tried to set it, it reverted itself back to it's original setting. Once in nightwear, we just accepted that was to be because, well because, there's nothing else we could do really was there ? - and there's no phone in the room to connect to reception to ask for help.
I've stayed in Premier Inns a few times before but this room style is a little more challenging than I've previously experienced vs when travelling alone.

Twin rooms could be improved.

I was only here for the night and it was exactly what I needed, not far from where I was going to be that night. The bed is the highlight. Its super comfortable. The room was spotless. Admittedly, when I got in the room there was a slight smell but with a quick spray it went 

Great Overnight Stay

The room needs major work. The floor was sunken in, there were clear signs of damp that had been wiped off the walls and the carpet had huge stains under the beds. The service from the staff however was brilliant and the staff were lovely!
