The Cottesmore B&B (near the Bushmills Whisky Distillery) was a clean and charming place to stay. We especially enjoyed the large bathtub after our long days of hiking and walking. The hosts were so helpful, thank you for providing such a nice place to stay.

Helpful Hosts, a Beautiful Bathtub, and a Clean Place to Stay

Cottesmore is a wonderful B&B located very close to Bushmills Distillery.  We stayed at Cottesmore two nights during our walking tour.  The hosts were welcoming and helpful.  There were several wonderful breakfast choices.  We highly recommend Cottesmore!

Friendly B&B In Bushmills

My family stayed at Cottesmore B&B in Bushmills during a hiking trip along the northern coast.

John is a most gracious host.  He made us feel like we were a part of his family.  He was generous to a fault and really runs a top notch B&B.

The home, bedrooms, bathrooms and all amenities were all that you could expect  we’d.  Everything was spotless.

The breakfast was excellent and more than we could have ever eaten.

John was very helpful with hiking suggestions and extremely knowledgeable about the area.

If you ever find yourself in Bushmills and in need of lodging, you could do not better than Cottesmore B&B.

Great host

My husband and I stayed here two nights. John and Rae were very nice and helpful.  The location is good, just a couple blocks to the Bushmills distillery and close to center of town.  Our room was  very nice and clean
I wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have enjoyed their beautiful back yard and patio area

Wonderful hosts

We stayed here 3 nights while we attended 2 days of The Open at Portrush Golf course. Our hosts were wonderful,very friendly,  great breakfasts. John acted as our taxi to get to the bus delivering people to the golf course which saved us a big hassle. One night we came home cool and wet and Rae made us coffee and tea and cookies. They also gave us excellent recommendations for our evening meals with good advice to set them up ahead of time to help with the crowds in town. We had our own bathrooms although another room didn’t. Very clean. We could walk to the downtown area and did a tour of Bushmill’s distillery which was interesting. Heartily recommend this B&B and this town!

Great B&B

We stayed for 2 nights as a base for exploring the northern coast. The hosts are fabulous, giving lots of great local advice. Breakfast was very good. This is a small place. Not all rooms have en-suite bathroom so make sure when booking. It is very clean and very comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the Bushmills Distillery and then into the town of Bushmills for dinner. Thank you Rae and John for a lovely stay. 

Wonderful hospitality, great location

Stayed here two nights.The hosts John and Rae were perfect hosts.John retrieved us from the trail and brought us back to start the hike from Dunluce castle.The home was soooo clean and had everything one would need for a night or two stay.Wonderful hosts.

Sparkling clea!

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights while we hiked around the northern coast and checked out the castles.  John and Rae were the most wonderful hosts and their B&B was the most excellent of 4 or 5 places (all nice) that we stayed.  They were warm, friendly, caring, and had a great place to stay.  Our breakfast was good as well, with two couples, one from Germany, one from China, which made for interesting conversations.  I would recommend them highly, and that is something I rarely do.

Located very near to the Old Bushmills Distillery and only a short walk to the centre of town, our hosts were welcoming and friendly andare able to offer the right advice on where to dine in town. The room was comfortable and quiet while the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.
