we booked 5 days with alfa  travel it took a long time getting there from the pick up in sale cheshire at 9.15 to arriving at bognor regis at 4.30 pm  the coach was in fact a not alfa coach but a grayway coach with little leg room and not like the alfa coaches  
arriving at the hotel we were welcomed by the manager and reception was very impressive check in
our room was really nice with a sea view clean large and very good number 48 on 2 nd floor 
all the staff were very professional and hard working and so nice nothing was to much trouble the hotel is really good clean well run and special thanks to the waitress and bar staff so polite and the room was cleaned to high standard
the 2 trip day outs we went on  were good

As coach holidays go ,this is the best accommodation  we have stopped in . We have been using coach tours for twenty years. We started using Alfa about 5 yrs ago and in our experience use better hotels than its rivals. Every thing about the hotel was quality.

Quality place

lets start with the good, the hotel is in a prime location with the beach being just across the road, the breakfast was ok as well with lots of choice, but the room was just dated, the shower door was hanging off, the wardrobe looked like it was about to fall forward and we had a view to the fire escape of the hotel, for the price it was ok for 1 night.

We had a wonderful stay at this newly refurbished hotel. 
The most efficient and friendly staff were all welcoming. 
Food was served to the table. We had a range of dishes to choose from.  All types of diet catered for. The hotel is very clean throughout. We will use this hotel again in the future. 
We were part of a Coach holiday. No Complaints at all .

Good Clean friendly hotel.

First ever visit to Bognor. Unfortunately the weather was very poor.
We travelled with Alfa Travel. Our driver Nigel was excellent.
All the staff were lovely. The hotel was clean and tidy and the food was good, not a huge choice but perfectly acceptable. The dining room very nicely laid out and attractive.
Only complaint was grapefruit segments at breakfast. As majority of the guests were elderly, I would think most would be on statins. It is risky then to eat grapefruit and all may be aware.
Our room was rather small but otherwise very good with plenty of storage space and a very nice sea view.
We were not interested in the nightly bingo but seemed to be in the minority. The entertainment was average, some good, others not so. The entertainment room was ideal for the purpose with plenty of seating.
Although our fellow guests were very friendly most of the time it was interesting to witness that during bingo everyone was expected to be totally quiet, but whilst the entertainment was taking place most groups were chatting away quite noisily, which I thought was quite rude and unfair to the singer.

Very nice hotel

First the good points :- Excellent location on the sea front with free car parking. The room we had was a small double. Adequate for a short stay and clean. Good bathroom. Free wifi. Good breakfast -  full english, well cooked except the toast which was leathery and orange juice overly watered down.  
Not so good :- Room was very hot and no way to open the window. TV was unwatchable - pixelating all the time.  It is probably regular coach parties that provide much of the hotel's income.  I rated the hotel 3 on tripadisor as 4 is deemed Very Good.  3.5  - Good would be a better rating from me.

Not a bad stay.

A first class hotel,sets a very high standard for a coach trip clientele.All the staff are so friendly & helpful in the restaurant.where the food is of an excellent quality &  throughout the hotel..they do everything to make your stay a very pleasant experience..I'd particularly like to mention Filipi & Jamal on the reception.so helpful & quick to sort out any problems you may have .two top guys ..all in all a surprisingly well facilitated hotel . highly recommended

surprisingly good hotel

Dingy room, with dirty windows. No Internet. Noisey from fellow guests above and barking dog outside. 
Food was plentiful, but of less-than-average quality.
Staff were run off their feet, but were good by and large.
Good position in the centre of Bognor.
Booking was poor - we requested a sea-view, and top floor - we got neither.

Hotel is in a good location and looks lovely from the outside. The receptionist was far from welcoming and deadpan. I Stayed in a single room which to be fair was clean and tidy. I had a lovely view looking over the dumped mattresses and bins at the back, the sash windows rattled all night and the wind flapped the curtains about due to the huge gap in the frame. I know it's an old building but this room would be freezing in winter. I stay in hotels 2 times a week due to work and for the cost (£85) I have stayed in nicer for far less money 

Strange place 

We had a few days in the Royal Norfolk Hotel in Bognor Regis on an Alfa coach trip. 
The hotel is in a nice position overlooking the sea with a long promenade. The shops are about a ten minute walk away.
We were in room 10 on the first floor 
which was comfortable but with all Leisureplex hotels you get two bars of soap and that’s it so bring your own toiletries. The bed was comfortable but with many of these hotels the walls are stud walls so sounds from adjacent rooms can be heard.
As frequent users of Alfa we have become used to their food as it is the same menu in almost every hotel in the UK. It’s plain food with not massive portions but with three courses you should be satisfied. 
There was adequate lounge space and  in one there are some very nice armchairs and sofas.
It is our favourite Alfa hotel so far.
