Decor is old , walls peeling , smashed tiles,  wires on show , electric tripped and  the socket then woke us I'm the night making a high buzzing noise. 
Those were the least of the issues .
Doors slamming all night , people on the landings talking about drink and drugs (so not for families). Bedding and duvet covers smelly and stained and the rooms stank very strongly if nicotine even though there is no smoking posted all around. 
Breakfast was OK for continental, all found something to eat but no choice of a cooked breakfast like some pictures suggest. 
The 2 staff we did see were pleasant enough. 
There was a leak coming through the ceiling in the lounge/bar area and visible signs of older waterdamage on many of the other ceelings, that and the buzzing of the electric socket makes me question if the wiring is even safe in this place.

Was greeted on the stairs by a large pitbull and owner, so if your shy around dogs this isn't the place for you.
It's a real shame because the size of the hotel the fact it has onsite parking means this hotel really does have great potential to be something great if some money was invested into giving the rooms a full refurbishment and new bedding ect.

Absolutely Awful, we went there some years ago for the Crufts weekend and it was pretty basic then, but now well........ Firstly we went into the room and it was freezing, the radiator was falling off the wall.  Although a kettle was available the only water available was in the bathroom where a big notice said ~"Not Drinking Water", both bedside light didnt work, and some wallpaper was stuck on with brown postal tape.  Whilst in the bath room we noticed the toilet brush  (Photos attatched), it was disgusting, and clogged up with all sorts and toilet paper.  We proceeded to try the shower, and left it running for a long time, and it was just running cold.  By this time i decided to speak to who i could only assume was the manager.  First off i asked him if the Radiator worked, or whether there was any heating in the room, he asked "did i want a fire, and what else did i want, i then went on to ask about the drinking water, he said there wasnt a notice saying that in the room, but there was, why he didnt know that i dont know,(again photo attatched),  he then very rudely said in a loud voice "anything else", i said well yes there is, none ohe bedside lights worked, he asked what the hell i thought he could do about that, and then stormed off to get a fire..  I was also going to tell him that we could not lock the door when we were in the room, so we had to sleep with it open, and we stuck a fridge that was in there in front of the door, so no one could get in. He was so rude i thought id keep the rest of what i wanted to say to myself.  We decided not to stay for Breakfast, and we were glad to be out of there and thankful that we had decided to go straight home from Crufts, instead of spending another night there.  Also just as we were leavng we noticed that all the Fire Doors had been wedged open, glad we didnt know that before we went to bed, as i felt very worried about the way this manager or whoever he was had spoken to me, Never Again !!! i have tried to find out who owns this Hotel so that i could put everything in writing to them, but this information was not forthcoming, and have been unable to find out via the internet.  Sorry have a new phone an i cant work out how to add it from phone to computer to upload, but happy to send photos if anyone wants them once i work it out, thanks for listening, rant over

ABSOLULTELY AWFUL ...NEVER AGAIN !!!!

Absolutely worst ever experience in any hotel I've ever stayed in .ceilings were leaking in few different places when we arrived in reception room .we waited a few hours as our flight was early. I didn't mind this .we had to inform staff of leaks in ceilings.we then checker in and had 2 rooms 1 double 1 family room .we had no bathrooms in either room . We had our 10 yr old daughter statyng with us too . hotel was very run down. We declined to stay and asked for refund. We had to drive 40 kms to new hotel at our expense. We tried to get refund and were refused. They told us to get from booking.com. they also refused us .not a happy customer and down our 185 euro stay 

Nightmare hotel from hell. 

For a cheap hotel we got what we expected but on the other hand we do atleast expect drinking water all taps said not drinking water and there was no where we could get water once we arrived if we knew this before hand we would of got some bottle water but we just assumed they would have some. 
Also our no hot water for showers and the lock on door was broken

I have 2 lads working away from home 
 They get there at 11pm and get told there is no booking 

Go elsewhere as this is a joke my telecom lads have been on the road and working since 7am

Get everything in writing

After getting there with confusing of speaking to a receptionist on phone 3 weeks in advance if twin room was on 1st floor as myself and friend were disabled but could manage one flight of stairs, was told twin rooms were on second floor the receptionist on at the time went out of her way to help she upgraded us to a family room on ground floor free of charge. Even though we booked through booking. Com
She was also running the bar and doing the new bar meals thry started we had a evening meal from 6pm wasn't quite 6pm she was having her tea said I quickly eat mine and do yours said no take your time but still got up and do new it
Morning is a continental breakfast which was excellent for the price and a pre order of bacon balm if wanted for  £3  the lady in charge that night is a asset to the place and should I come this way again I would book again 

Excellent customer service 

For the price you pay this is a well run hotel.  Everything you need for a good night's sleep.   Bed, clean towels, decent pillows.  Plus a decent breakfast in the morning - tea, coffee, orange juice, toast, cereals, croissant and fruits.   

I mean, if all you need is a place to get your head down, this does the job

Perfect if all you need is a bed and breakfast 

This is a nice place to stay for a great price.  Bed and linen were clean and comfortable, 2  pillows, breakfast included, WiFi and free parking.  Yes the place is a little worn, but the staff are friendly, the bar was well stocked and it was a quiet place to sleep the night. There were lots of available showers and toilets but shared, which is what you do in every pub and restaurant.   

I would stay again.

Good priced one night stay

I was having trouble finding the location so I rang for help, I later found out it was the manager. His manner was incredibly offensive speaking so fast and rudely I asked him to say more slowly his response was “ didn’t you hear me” I replied and said he was rude he then said I don’t care.
The room was awful the road noise terrible coupled to noisy residents mainly workers.
Don’t go there ..

Appealing manager!!

3  of us stayed in economy room. It was clean but very tired.  There were no curtains only blinds (so not much privacy. The communal toilet/shower also had no curtains. 
A bit noisy on main road outside.
TV did not work  and neither did the lamps above the bed.  Luckily we had our firestick and Good WiFi in the room 👍 
The sink in the room were both hot taps?? 
We ate in the restaurant, the Chinese was lovely! 
Breakfast was continental, which was ok, 
the staff were friendly.
