This guesthouse offers excellent accommodation with comfortable and clean rooms, good facilities and an excellent breakfast all within a stones thrown of the NEC. It was very easy to find and most welcoming. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation

Stayed here last weekend for the classic car show. This was my second year staying here and I have to say the girls are amazing. The accomodation is first class but only outdone by the staff themselves and the best cooked breakfast you will find anywhere. Classic car show

We chose this B&B after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor as we needed to stay in the area for family reasons.  It is really convenient for the air port, NEC, Birmingham city centre with all its attractions and eateries and probably a whole lot more places we don't know about.  This large traditional property with plenty of on site parking is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and our room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.  Julie and her sister Tracey look after you from the minute you book and nothing is too much trouble.  Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the large back garden was a real pleasure and made us wish we had stayed at a warmer time of year so that we could sit outside.  As per previous reviews, there are many little touches which show that lots of thought and care have gone into running this B&B so a big thank you to both ladies for a lovely stay.  We will certainly return to you again should we need accomodation in the area and are unable to stay with family. Andrew & Karen, IOW, UK

This B&B sets the standard for others

Stayed here during my visit to the Classic Car Show at the NEC Birmingham. 14th-15th Nov The location of the Black Firs couldn't be better ,a short taxi ride from the NEC and your there. Thanks to the comments on Trip Advisor I wanted to stay here and see for myself. I honestly couldn't  fault anything about this accomadation ,the rooms were spotless, and the big comfortable bed was a dream to ly on.breakfast buffet consists of fresh fruit and berries ,cereals ,fresh juices and much more .I opted for English Breakfast and can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever eaten ,clean,fresh and piping hot with loads of toast and a big pot of tea.... Enough said... 
   Julie and Tracy are two "GEMS" and made my stay fantastic ,I  will definitely return to the Black Firs Guesthouse that's for sure !!     Norman Cloughmills N Ireland ....

Fantastic Guesthouse

Black Firs Guesthouse was a fabulous find! We will be returning! The house is gorgeous with beauty and comfort at its heart. Little touches showed great thought and care is taken to ensure you have everything you need to have a great stay. Julie was knowledgable and helpful with the warmest of welcomes. Our breakfasts were top quality and absolutely delicious! Perfect location for LG N.E.C with taxi service quick and costing next to nothing. A wonderful stay!
