Stayed in the car park in our Motorhome , we had a couple of problems with it and Pedro went way and beyond to help us out , thanks for that . We watched the Wimbledon and Football finals had a great roast and day . would definitely recommend this place  , big carpark with room for quite a few motorhomes .

Goid times at the beckfird

The family and I wanted to go for Sunday lunch as we drove past the Beckford Inn we said how inviting the pub looked so we turned around … never been before but will definitely go again … staff very friendly ( pedro was are waiter he alone would get 5  stars ) the food was hot and fresh … thank you 😁

Sunday lunch

Booked a family (16 in total) bank holiday reunion of children and adults from Wales and England at the Beckford Inn. The welcome and service was warm and welcoming. 
We had drinks and afternoon meal in the Bredon Room, where we were able to relax and enjoy a varied and excellent lunch. 
Our evening was spent in the courtyard where we continued to enjoy our evening. 
Retiring to our well appointed and clean rooms at the end of day was made welcome by their cleanliness and comfort. 
Morning breakfast was a true delight with much choice to meet everyone’s tastes. 
Pedro and his team did an excellent job and made our reunion special and memorable.
Thanks to Pedro the Manager and his team. 
I would certainly recommend a visit to the Beckford Inn for a meal or overnight stay.

Beckford great for a family reunion.

We had a 4 night stay booked for july with the property. Had an email telling me they could not accomodate us for one of the evenings in the middle of the stay as they had subsequently booked out the whole property for an event. Thanks for ruining our trip

No customer care

What an exceptional stay - from the warm welcome after a much longer road trip than expected; a warm, lightly lit room with the radio playing quietly; comfortable bed & delicious breakfast!  The decor in the room was exceptional as was the lovely cotton bed linen.

Overnight stay before course at Vale Wildlife Rescue Centre.

We chose the Beckford Inn because it was in the right area for our visits to friends and family. We stayed just one night and because it was Sunday we were told there would be no-one at reception after 6pm. However, arrangements for self-checkin were communicated to us very well, and all worked perfectly. Our room was larger than we expected and had all we needed. Even though we were in the annex right next to the main road, it did not seem at all noisy even in the morning rush hour. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed.
What impressed us most though was the breakfast. It is not a buffet, but the menu choices were excellent (eg. my porridge was wonderful), coffee refills generous and toast freshly made. Good value for money. And the staff member who looked after us, despite being busy with a large group as well as us, was extremely friendly and efficient. Made us feel very welcome. 

Excellent value one-night stay and super-friendly service

Lovely overnight stay with a great restaurant. Beautiful building. Super comfortable rooms (lovely duvet, nice lighting, lots of nice touches - homemade shortbread, cafetière, pillow spray, Roberts radio, complementary beer/Prosecco). Staff were great, they couldn’t do more to make us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast) was delicious. Dogs are welcomed. Lots of space to sit outside if the weather allows. Plenty of parking, and easy to find. We stayed with parents (who can’t walk far), and everything was very manageable (rooms on ground floor, car park close by).  Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay with a lovely restaurant

We’ve been passing this Inn for years on our way to and from the M5 and saying how lovely it looked and we must stop by one day so I booked a night there as a surprise for my husband. The room looked lovely and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with lots of cushions. Our room was in the main building facing the top of the stairs and was at the front of the building. There is a small fridge which had milk and complementary beer and prosecco. There is also a pillow spray which I took home with me and have been using and really like. There is a lot of road noise which goes on all night but there isn’t anything they can do about that and is to be expected.  They do provide ear plugs but I didn’t think they were very good and was glad I had my own with me.  I would stay here again without a second thought if it wasn’t for one thing, the room was so hot! We had the windows open the whole time (as much as we could as they have retainers that stop them opening more than a couple of inches).  We also had the fan on the whole time but it didn’t make any difference.  It wasn’t even a particularly hot day outside.  As we left the room to have breakfast the difference in temperature in the hallway was really noticeable and such a relief.  When we checked out I did comment on how hot the room was but was answered with “Humm” and no further comment.
We sat in the garden in the afternoon and it was very pleasant, there are a few different seating areas. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very nice.  I had the crab linguine and my husband had the steak which was on as a special. The food and drink was all very nice and served by a very friendly, efficient waiter. I found breakfast a bit disappointing as I don’t eat eggs and nearly everything on the menu contained eggs.  I ended up with granola with berry compote and yoghurt which was very nice but didn’t really compare in value or quantity to my husband’s full English.
We did have a nice time and I would go back if I knew the room wasn't going to be so hot.


Hot stuff

Had a two night stay here. we had a room in the older part of the hotel, nice spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, and nice fluffy towels. We had a spacious bathroom too, being in the older part of the building the floor sloped slightly. There were lots of extras supplied, prosecco and beer in the fridge, plus water and fresh milk. Nice toiletries, shower gel, shampoo were in large bottles, not to be taken, but there was a small bottle of bubble bath, hand sanitiser and a pillow spray to take. ( the pillow spray bottle is refillable ) Ear plugs were supplied too, the hotel is near to a busy road, although I didn't hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was very good too and the staff were very professional. We hope to return.
