Properly is clean , cosy and comfortable and the owners couldn’t be more helpful with anything you need.  Recommend to anyone wanting a get away and relax . Just 10 minutes outside of coleraine and port rush which has great beaches and places to eat. 

Amazing place to stay 

These cottages are absolutely beautiful. We had a long drive and ferry to get there so we were al shattered but as we walked in the cottages they were so cosy and warm and welcoming. They were spotlessly clean and smelt beautiful as we walked in, we couldn’t fault a thing. They are the perfect location for everything along the coastal route to be within easy driving distance. So peaceful at night along with beautiful views. The cottages have everything you could possibly need and the owners Ann and her husband were the most helpful and friendliest people you could meet, they made the whole experience from booking right to the end so easy. We had a large family and so hired 3 to accommodate 12 of us, but you could have fitted another 4 people. So much parking comes with the cottages along with an overflow car park, so there was never a worry about parking. We had such a great week away and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Ireland. 

Beautiful cottages, great location. 

The cottage is amazing, i walked in and it was super toasty walking in . The cottage was absolutely spotless. There was everything in the kitchen you would expect from a five star property.
Ann and Paul are fantastic hosts . They are superb in their detail of furnishings . They are conscientious in every aspect of the cottage and your stay .
Cant wait to be back .

Stunning, beautiful. Fantastic location 

Could not have been better, fantastic location (for visiting all the major attractions of the north coast) and superb accommodation. Nothing was to much bother for Ann and her staff. We were made most welcome.  The cottage was warm and clean. I would highly recommend Ulster Cottages and I will definitely be back.

A most enjoyable stay 

Had a lovely stay at Ulster Cottages. The cottage was kept very clean when we arrived and everything was in perfect order. Ann was also very helpful with anything we needed. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful place to stay

Having an excellent stay at ulster cottages, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the north coast, very clean and tidy houses, kept to a very high standard by owners Paul and ann too very friendly, helpful and professional people.  Beautiful place would come back here in a heartbeat.

Brilliant stay 

We had a great stay in Ulster Cottages. The cottage itself was Super clean and has everything you need, really good location for sightseeing.. and the Owners were so friendly, and helpful! Will defo be back soon :) 

Great stay 

Five star rating for this holiday cottage situated on the lovely north coast. Ann the owner very pleasant and helpful. Cottages very clean and kept to a high standard. Ideal location for my family break. Definitely be back to stay. 

Excellent family or group accommodation. 

Some positive to these cottages they were clean and well laid out.
However a few negatives:

- Fridge-freezer hadn’t been on long before arrival meaning the fridge wasn’t cold. There were ice packs in the freezer which weren’t fully frozen to indicate that this had only been switched on.

- signs telling you what you can’t do: No Ball Games sign meaning kids can’t play football out the front in the only area with grass. No parking on the drive sign on the back of the front door, if you do park for only 2 minutes to drop your things to the door the owners aren’t long in coming out to tell you to move. Sign on the cistern threatening a £95 fine if the toilet is blocked.

- owners are rude. Upon arrival I plugged my electric car into the plug in the house which costs approx 2p per mile. I only needed 20 miles so would have only cost around 40p for this charge. In response to this the owner barged into my rented cottage and demanded that I unplug the car. Rather off-putting that anyone felt they could walk into a fully paid rented cottage. He did not seem impressed that I did not quickly jump to complete his request. 

I also noticed that when they needed a residents car moved the lady owner opened the door to the cottage unannounced shouting into the houses to find who owned the car - overall very unprofessional and rude owners.

- not accommodating if you have an electric car. I would have happily paid an extra £10 to charge my car if requested or dealt with in a more amicable way. 

Overall I am left wondering why these owners are even in the hospitality trade. Quite unwelcoming and very unprofessional. Got the feeling I couldn’t relax as I felt they were watching everything I was doing. Clearly just a money maker with no regards to customer satisfaction.

Do not recommend.

After a lovely charity walk up the North Coast we checked into Ulster Cottages.  The perfect location for a bigger group, we had such a great time & Ann the owner couldn't have been more accommodating.  Thank you for a lovely stay.
