I read some really alarming reviews prior to coming, so our expectations were low; however I’m really pleased to say all our fears were expelled as soon as we got to the accommodation. Jodie and Sadie (accommodation prepers) had done a fantastic job !

The site is right on the beach, entertainment in the evening was good and the food server was good!

This is our first night and I hope the rest of ten stay is as positive!

Amazing place the staff are amazing? Great for kids and dogs.  Place is so clean and tidy, the team go out their way I honestly have never met such an amazing team in every area.  100% will be returning here.  Pool is nice and warm, bar and the food is great and they have lots of offers.  Beach is lovely and 1 minute walk

Took our 15 month old toddler on a mini break and it was an absolute hit. He loved every single second. I have to say that Rosie and Dannie made the holiday for us, they are both amazing especially Rosie who has so much time and patience for children. They went above and beyond to ensure our kids had the most amazing holiday. We loved the clubs in the day there was so much for them to do. We also loved the evening entertainment, although I'd probably request it an hour earlier however it didn't seem to be a problem. 

Thank you so much for a great time. But again I'd like to shout out to Rosie and Dannie because they are our most memorable part of the holiday. We will definitely be back.

Lovely, clean caravan and the beds were comfy, everything we needed was there. It was right by the sea as well, which although was a bit  of a walk from the main site was good for walking off those lovely fish and chip calories. 

It was very hot when we got in the van as the heating was on on a warm day, that went straight off with every window opened and my portable van on ( woman of a certain age here)

The menu had few choices for Vegetarians looking for low calories options although the veggie fajitas were really delicious. The chocolate orange tart was really nice. 

Polite and friendly staff too. Nice to see happy dogs around.

We stayed there this weekend, coming home on Monday. We’ve stayed at lots of caravan parks over the years and for what we wanted this was definitely one of the best. We were made to feel really welcome, and when we got to our large spacious accommodation they had left a tub of essentials including washing up kit, and a lovely pack for the dog, blanket, water bowl etc.
The beach is first class, and is right next to the park. You aren’t supposed to take dogs on there between May and September but many did.

I had a wonderful time with my mate's Stag do and I would love to come back to stay for 3 nights the carivans were amazing 

The beds was amazing and soft
The sofa was soft
The kitchen and the bathroom and the shower are lovely and cleanAnd I like stff

I love this caravan park, i have been an owner on the park for just over 6 years and have loved it. Entertainment team are fantastic and a massive thank you for all the fantastic shows they put on and arcade staff are very good making sure it is running well.

Just returned  from an amazing week at golden sands 20 in our party kids and adults  had a amazing time didnt want to leave all caravans were lovely, great entertainment  team especially  Tye,Rosie,ellouise ,Danni and George and not forget Dave the security  and his team

Loads for the kids, lovely chocolate party, swimming facilities, clean and tidy, friendly staff, free cashpoints, great entertainment in the early evening suitable for children and older entertainment later on. The bingo is family friendly too. The caravan was clean, spacious and well designed.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July, I must say the staff are really friendly. We stayed on the sea breeze area of the park & it’s really spacious, we were notified by WhatsApp of when the caravan was ready & of its location. The contactless entry is ideal especially when your in a global pandemic. The restaurant was closed at the time we was down there due to covid however the bar was open, entertainment is brilliant for the kids as all the staff get really involved. 
Unless you know of the site then you may drive past the entrance as it’s a little tucked away, however I would highly recommend this site to anyone that wants a good break, We liked it that much we might even be buying a van on there now. 👍🏻

ROSIE AND DANNIE

Lovely clean site

Stayed in 2 Caravans in March (Easter school Holiday).
Lovely location right on the pebble beach.
Caravans were of good quality, no complaints.
Club was excellent, not over crowded, we enjoyed it.
One of our Caravans had got a Kitchen cleaner set (washing up liquid, spare bin bag, dishcloth), the other had not. I informed reception about it and they said they would get one down to us, They did not !!  Point lost !!

Very good chance we will return.

Really enjoyed it.

Stayed for 3 nights in luxury lodge with hot tub, paid for an early check in, lodge was clean and spacious everything in good working order. The resort is close to a few pubs, fair etc so it was nice to venture out. We only went swimming once as kids found it a little boring being quite small slides etc but killed an hour. Not as scenic as other parks we've visited before in Wales. However, my 2 10 year old loved the entertainment they often find it all a bit cringe but I think it catered really well for their age group and above. We was lucky enough to watch wrestling which was really funny (although £3 each to get a photo on you're own phone seemed a bit extreme). A magician/comedian and they had a race night too. Bingo for the kids wS fun and free. Loved all the songs we go to the holiday villages abroad n it was nice to hear same upbeat songs here. They boys booked on a nerd activity which they really enjoyed and got to run riot in the casosel. But shout out to Jeevan (sorry if this is incorrect spelling) he was great with the kids giving first pumps out, selfies, calling them bruh 😂, he was born to do that job and is a credit to the resort.

Lovely family stay

Been coming for years,always book with private owners. Really enjoyed our stay. But since it was took over have noticed the price in the restaurant and chippy has rocketed. The beach is beautiful and you get some amazing sunsets,just wish people would be more respectful and pick up their rubbish. 

Holiday 

Fantastic location close to two fairs and right next to the beach.
Grandkids loved it .
Entertainment was on every night wrestling was the best pure fun for adults and kids .
Special shout out to Neil on security who took not only my grandkids but most of the other kids under his wings .
He was making their holiday fun they even drew him pictures to say thank you a true genuine and kindhearted gentleman .
Only down side was couldn’t get the kids in the swimming pool fully booked up should have booked well in advance .
Overall good holiday .


Fantastic  entertainment 

Stayed here as a family of 6 part of a big group so three caravans between us. We had a two bedroom comfort caravan. The master bedroom had an ensuite and was massive. The caravan was clean and everything we needed for a base. The bed in the living room was a pull out and to be honest was not comfortable would get a three bedroom if we came again. The entertainment was great especially the bingo! Swimming pool is fab and there is loads for the kids to do which is the main thing we look for in a kids break. Would be better if they had a shop on site for essentials. We ate at the catch 22 and the sandpiper both of which where good. On the last day the sandpiper had run out of a lot of things which was disappointing but we were told that they hadn't expected it to be so busy. Would definitely come again for a short break. 

Weekend break to sunny Rhyl

I initially booked a premium  caravan for myself and my husband for a week. I then read they don't have decking, so I phoned back specifically to ask to upgrade and pay extra for, the luxury caravan to ensure we had decking. We arrived to a caravan that had steps up to a platform that was approx one metre wide, that obviously was to gain access/exit from patio doors. I went to the office to discuss this, was told not all luxury caravans had wrap around decking!! Where is this information on the website?? I asked for a different caravan which had decking to which I was informed the park was full. 
Our double bedroom looked immediately onto the bin area, which was foul smelling and seagulls all over it, I couldn't open the window  due to the smell for the full week.
The next day, my husband asked the reception staff for chairs and a table so we could sit outside behind our car due to no decking, they said they would ask maintenance staff to bring to us if they had anything!! Staff brought chairs but said they didn't have any tables! 
The suite inside the caravan was stained, tie backs for curtains were lying on the floor.
Honestly, I feel so ripped off with Away Resorts, reception staff couldn't give a damn!
It wasn't a cheap holiday but not one I'll repeat!
