It wasnt very easy to find it as there is no sign of this hostel on Derybasovska street! but once we did we have got a nice room (we booked it before) with really nice bathroom. The kitchen was quite busy but we didnt mind it as we didnt have to use it. The staff was helpful. The window in the room was really high up so seemed like no window at all.

It has a very nice location (in the main street, but you enter it from the courtyard), and friendly staff. But pay attention that the hostel is located in the basement, and sometimes it can be quite noisy, especially in the kitchen.

Excellent location

This hostel is perfectly located just in the very center of Odessa and the staff seemed quite friendly. However, the room (we stayed in the dormitory) was very dark and stuffy (the hostel is in the basement) with quite unpleasant smell of either mould or smb's dirty garments. Moreover, the tiny mixed shower and toilet rooms are just near the kitchen, which is always full of people, that was quite uncomfortable. The place is quite clean though, and, unlike other reviewers mentioned, it wasn't so noisy while we stayed. So, it's OK to stay for one-two nights, but it's definitely not the best choice.

It was OK, but I wouldn't stay there another time!

I with my boyfriend stayed here for 1 week in a double room. As it was in augest other hostels were not valuable. The price is avarage- 290 uah, but this room has no window! So we coud not understand what time is it( The location is great! In the heart of Odessa. You can stay your car in the yard for free.

Typical Ukranian hospitality - which means no smiles, no friendliness.  One of the main staff members claims not to understand English, although it's clear it's more of a case of xenophobia as she doesn't even try to understand pantomime.  The place is clean, however the bathrooms are right off of the kitchen which is rather gross.  The shower stalls are tiny - don't drop the soap!  I didn't like the amount of noise and lack of common sense during sleeping hours by both staff and guests.  Several times during the night, people came in and out inc. staff for no apparent reason.  The 8 bed dorms have one bed inches from the door knob and the door wasn't possible to close quietly.  Bed sheet doesn't even fit properly, but this is more a Ukranian thing.  I checked out after one night.
