Family run, this is a lovely place to stay. Mum and dad are very polite and helpful while the daughter is kind and efficient. A lot of money must have been spent to bring this small hotel up to very modern standards. Breakfast under the grape vines is a fine act in itself. A short walk to the village full of friendly restaurants, this is the place to set off for the Roman ruins and the incredible beach.

A real look at Turkish life.

For a modestly priced establishment this offers everything a traveller needs. Comfortable rooms, free parking, strong wi fi, great views, super breakfast and friendly owners.
Just a small thing, they no longer provide kettles in the room but they do provide  a hairdryer. And heater/air conditioner.

Great value comfortable stay

Great hotel!!! We really enjoyed staying there.The rooms are basic, but clean and you have everything you need. Every room is having his own balcony with the possible to dry the wet clothes from the beach.The family is really nice and helpful. They even left us wash our clothes and didn’t let us pay for it. We liked it so much, that we extended our stay there and we wish to come back anytime.

Great stay with lovely family

Wonderful stay!  The family were so warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was made fresh every morning whenever I chose to come down. They made me feel like I was home.

Outstanding

I travelled here from Fethiye and unfortunately fell in Fethiye and sprained my ankle.  When I arrived in Patara I could put no weight at all on my left foot so had to get a taxi from the bus stop to the pension.

The owners saw me arrive and immediately brought crutches to help me get down the stairs to the reception/restaurant/sitting area.  They fed me, gave me copious amounts of tea, and the wife - Hatice - spent an hour or so massaging something into my ankle, yanking it painfully a few times, and then miraculously I was able to walk again!  And by 'walk' I mean that the next day I walked down to the beach and all around the ruins; it was as though I'd never injured the foot at all!

I was the only guest at the pension for the first 2 nights that I stayed.  My room was quiet, spacious and clean.  It opened onto a large terrace which was shared with a few other rooms (all empty).

I asked what time breakfast was served and was told that it was usually 08:00-10:00 but because I was the only guest they would do it to suit me.  It was delicious each day: tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, boiled egg, cheese, bread, butter, jams and honey, all washed down with unlimited amounts of tea.

The day I left the owners' daughter, Fatma, had made a cake and gave me a couple of slices to take with me and eat on the way.

In short, staying here was like staying with friends.  The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the pension in a good location (although not ideal for those with walking difficulties as it's up a slightly steep hill), close to shops and restaurants.  I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Patara/Gelemis.

Quiet and friendly - and they saved my holiday

Hosts are very friendly and happy to support:) we ate tasty breakfast with products from their garden. Rooms are clean, but old.

Friendly stay

After my visit in Kas, I went to Patara town at the end of the summer  season. I found this cozy pension halfway up the hill and there was a friendly old man who owned the penion apparently. Prices where good and it was incl. a homemade delicious breakfast. Recommended if you would like to visit Patara beach & the ruins.
