Beautiful place , very attentive hosts, couldn't ask for a better place, felt rustic with all mod cons, well stocked fridge, fantastic service with plentiful breakfast

Kalkan, oldy world Turkish experience or as close as you can get

We recently had a few days stay in Kalkan when visiting Turkey this year. A HUGE thank you to Ayhan and his Russian wife Natali at the Kleo Pansiyon, we had a lovely stay there and would highly recommend it.  In a brilliantly convenient spot, a lovely spotless room and delightful hosts.  We had amazing breakfasts on the roof terrace with beautiful views over the harbour and the sea. Fridge in the room, refilled daily with bottled water and beers, and at very reasonable prices. These people deserve success in their business, they are so friendly and kind. When Ayhan was unable to get us a taxi to the Otogar for our return to Calis, he very kindly took us in his own car to make sure we got our pre- booked coach transfer.  On our departure Natali gave us a present of Turkish Delight and a lovely Russian doll keyring.  I have no doubt we will return to Kalkan for another short stay when in Turkey and without a doubt would choose to stay at Kleo.

Enjoyable stay in Kalkan

Perfect. The position was great - close to the harbour and all the bars/restaurants. Fabulous views from both the room and the rooftop terrace. Excellent customer service. Brilliant breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We were in a trip with my husband at south of Turkey which we dealed with him as making no plan but decided every stop in the way, thats the way how we have met  with Kleo pension. The price was perfect with big rooms and very centrally located. Only 2 mins to Kalkan public beach. The breakfast was great which is served at terrace. In the night we grap our wine and enjoy the very picturesque sea view . Kalkan was not busy at all, cuz of pandemic no English most of the tourist were Turkish maybe some Russian so public beach was so rare and all pensions were available… kleo pension owner Ayhan and Natalie were kind and helpful people. Kleo pension has 5 rooms only 1 double bed which we stayed others were twin.
I really love here so much, the bestl location best price and best big nostalgic rooms and best view and breakfast terrace:) thank you so much Ayhan Abi…

The Best price in the very heart of Kalkan with best sea view terrace

Wow where do you start?? Wonderful doesn't quite sum up our experience at the Kleo, fantastic warm welcome upon arrival, fantastic and very comfortable room with excellent facilities.
Breakfast on the top floor terrace was tasty and plentiful.
Thoroughly recommend staying at the Kleo. 

Perfect Pension

We spent two nights toward the end of the season. Many places are shut down, but the hotel and restaurant remain open all year. It's like staying in a castle, but there's good heat in the rooms for rainy days. There's plenty of hiking around and the scenery is great.

This small boutique pension is in one of the best positions in Kalkan. The views from the bedroom and the terrace, looking over the harbour and the bay are wonderful. The breakfast is terrific. Traditional Turkish with cheeses, fresh bread, eggs, fruit, you name it, it's there. The owners, Ayhan and Natali, are a lovely, welcoming, "nothing is too much trouble" kind of people. Comfortable, traditionally furnished room, with tea and coffee  facilities, mini bar. Air con, worked well. Cleaning excellent with regularly fresh towels. Tucked into a side street, so no noise, except for the Mosque!Didn't bother us. Nice terrace balcony, again very traditional. close to the centre, and so many restaurants, you would have to stay for months to eat in them all. Only 5 rooms, all reached by stairs., but well lit. They will also prepare evening meals on request. Natali cooks it all herself. Had a lovely time, and will definitely return

unique experience

Aihan and Natalia are so warming, they made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxed stay,and are polite,lovely people,their English is very limited but with the magic of technology this was not a problem, on arrival i explained I had recently been diagnosed with Celiacs disease, they were understanding and made sure i didnt miss out, and Natalia made me my own special potatoe pancakes 🤗which i must say i will be making at home, it was my husband's birthday while we were there, they made him a special breakfast with birthday balloons and music, we were so grateful, this husband and wife team make this little hotel apartment a gem, this is the first time we've ever stayed somewhere without a pool, so we were a little tentertive as to what to expect,as it is a budget hotel, but with the sea within a 5min walk, it was perfect, if you are the sort of people who don't want busy hotels full of British people, with
Cabaret and would prefer to have a taste of Turkish life, then this is for u, we will be back 😚😚

Perfect location right next to the harbour and town beach. Immaculate accommodation, the turkish breakfast provided every morning is absolutely delicious. The couple who run the Kleo Pension are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would definately stay here again, cannot recommend it enough. Ian Bell and Tracy

Perfect location

Spacious ŕoom with balcony.  Run by husband and wife team who just want you to have the best holiday! Breakfast eggs, bread, cheese, tomatoes cucumber, yogurt honey dried fruit, a pastry/cake, tea or coffee. They actually let us stay in our room until 6pm when our taxi came so kind.  What you must know about Kalkan is it is a beautiful resort (we have been 8 times) but it rises very steeply so it is important that you book somewhere very close to beach and harbour (like the Kleo) would recommend
