Windmill Hotel

We have holidayed in Yalikavak every year since 2003 as we had our own place near Gockebel but this was the first time we stayed in a hotel.what an eye opener! No car needed, plenty of bars & restaurants close to hand. The location was perfect, just around the corner from the Main Street, 50 m from the beach & bars. The pool was tranquil, plenty of sunbeds as we are not a fan of sand but after the first 2 days we realized the beach was cooler so plucked up the courage to go. Breakfast was beautiful, a typical Turkish breakfast of tomatoes, cucumber, olives, egg, sausage, breads, juices, tea, coffee. It the staff even made me an omelette when I fancied a change. English newspapers within walking distance so always started with a quiet civilized read with breakfast before hitting the beach! Staff very friendly, didn't mind our friends & baby using their pool. We had an upstairs room overlooking the pool. Plenty of storage , shower worked fine ( better than our Turkish house & warmer) bed comfy, The only thing I missed was a small fridge but as bars were close by I soon got used to that! We would definitely stay again
