My trip to Turkey started in Ankara, where I chose the Altınel Ankara Hotel & Convention Center. It turned out to be a great surprise, exceeding all expectations. The central location, just a few steps from Anitkabir, is excellent. Check-in was quick and friendly. The room, modern and spacious, featured a king-size bed, large-screen TV, work area with internet access, private safe, sofa, minibar, and a bathroom equipped with amenities, a bathrobe, and slippers. The view of a green area was an additional highlight. The hotel has a Business Lounge, ideal for events and conferences, as well as a Spa with saunas, a well-equipped gym, and massage rooms. Breakfast deserves special mention for its variety, ranging from cold cuts and hot dishes to breads and pastries. The Hill 151 restaurant, awarded Best Restaurant in Ankara for two consecutive years, impressed with every dish, from appetizers to the main course and dessert—everything was delicious. After such a positive experience, I have no doubt this will be my hotel of choice for any future visit to Ankara.
