Doo-Dao-Doi Farm & Stay

➕ This place was heaven on earth! The bungalows were simple but very cute. The site is quiet which gives you an opportunity to listen to the wildlife and the river that runs through it. The hot springs are so relaxing and only a 5 minute walk away. Sit on the patio and enjoy the view towards the mountains. There is a kitchen free to use which was useful because the location is quite remote (which is exactly what we were looking for!). The breakfasts is the best breakfast we’ve ever had anywhere. They are different every day, plentiful, fresh and always Thai with omelette and toast on the side. It is cooked by this gorgeous lady that brightened up every morning - she was funny, kind and taught us a bit of Thai every day. Aun, the host, is the kindest person you will ever meet. He drove us to town so we can hire a moped, he sat down with us every morning for a chat and helped you with anything you needed. When I worried driving the scooter up and down the drive after we once slipped, he would watch out for us to drive it up and down for us! He was just so lovely. We sort of adopted both of them as our Thai parents. I will 100% return! If you don’t want to cook yourself, Model Farm in town was very delicious and good value (try the smoked duck with kale!). ➖ I would absolutely give this place 10/10 any day but the only thing that wasn’t so great was that the bed was really quite hard... this would certainly not stop me from coming back.
