Baan Wanglang Riverside

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our amazing experience at Baan Wanglang Riverside. I traveled with my daughter, my best friend, and her daughter, and this was our first time in Thailand, so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles, a refreshing towel, and tea, which was much needed after a 14-hour plane ride. The location was perfect. Situated in old Bangkok, on the other side of the river, and in the heart of Wang Lang Market, you walk out of the hotel and are within steps of the market, which we loved. We adored the rooftop bar, a great way to have a drink, wind down from our daily excursions, and enjoy the view of the river. We used the daily hop-on and hop-off boat, which is less than 100 feet from the hotel. What made this stay even more special and personal was the front desk staff and the bellmen. They always greeted us with a smile, willing to help but not overly pushy. We were thoroughly surprised when we checked out and they gave us a small souvenir of a picture they had taken of us. It was so special and just that extra touch. We stayed here at the beginning of our travels to Thailand and stayed in another hotel towards the end of our trip. The other hotel was more modern and in central Bangkok, but it didn't have the charm and warmth that Baan Wangland did. When asked which was our favorite hotel, unanimously, Baan Wanglang was our favorite. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable and outstanding.
