Best Hotel In Mwanza, Very Friendly Welcome and Welcoming Staff. Clear rooms/ Tasty breakfast and good lunch and dinner. The location is very quiet to relax you ur body and mind. I was their for one week i felt that i was at home and enjoyed my stay in Mwanza.

The services you get while staying at Victoria Palace is pure class the waiters are kind and their food is delicious, in short it’s the best. 
The rooms have a nice view of the Victoria lake and of the beautiful city of Mwanza. 

I’ve been to this hotel and many others in Mwanza region but I just figured out that this hotel is better than all other hotels in Mwanza to visit with family, friends, as couples and even for business matters this is cause of many reasons including: It’s non -alcoholic, good wifi, good scenery view of Mwanza city and many others. 

This hotel is amazing, every time I’m in mwanza this hotel is always my first choice cause it’s non alcoholic and this is good for family vacations and trips, victoria is good because of it’s tasty food especially the giant tilapia(samaki), clean environment and good view the view is amazing  you’ll be able to see the largest lake in africa clearly , the rock city and most of mwanza If you are on the top of the building or inside the rooms.                                The hotel has caring waiters and waitress they know how to speek to customers, you’ll get strong wifi at victoria, also if you want to take a dip here is the place they’ve got a good dip swimming pool.                          Victoria palace is always the best place to be for the best.

We stayed overnite at this hotel. It is in an excellent location near victori lake with excellent views of the city. The rooms are decent size and the staff re very helpful. There is  security gateat entrance which is a plus. Two suggestions
1. Carpets need constant cleaning. In future renovation get rid of it nd put marble floor
2. Housekeeping and maintenance staff whould check everything is working be4 guests come in. Some items were loose and left exposed.

I would hve given a five. However highly recommended

I was gone for my business trip, i was using bolt and office car to drop and peak from the hotel.

The best hotel in Mwanza

Good location

The hotel was okay for the price, but it had a very strong bug spray smell. I later saw them spraying the halls with bug spray. If we had not put the "do not disturb sign" on our door they would have sprayed the room again in the evening. (I know because they did to our friend's room next door.) I realize they do this to keep the mosquitoes away, but I don't want to sleep in a room full of fumes either. 

I booked several rooms for a ladies retreat and was surprised that they were so unwilling to work with us on pricing. We ended up saving money by not eating there and eating at a nearby hotel that had much better food. They definitely lost out on money had they of been willing to bargain a bit. Another issue was that they advertise a pool and yet the pool was down for repairs. This is another reason I was surprised they would not come down on the price.

However, our main issue was that they called immigration to let them know that foreigners were staying at the hotel. They did not tell me weeks in advance when I booked the rooms that they would have to call. If they had we would have all been prepared with our documentation. We spent the morning getting it all together. It really poured cold water on a lovely time.

Just Okay

Staff at Reception are kind and helpful and try to help you with local requests but sadly even as a local they had no knowledge abt simpke infos such as Travel Agents or Sights and good restaurants in town. Rooms are quite cosy equipped with cosy comfortable Beds.
Hotel Restaurant having a 3 side Menu Card but mostly frozen food incl.Pizza instead of described fresh made. Bathroom instruction is a huge fail as the floor is not constructed to let the water flow in the sinksfloor and so running mostly into the room. Cheap simple shower gel/toothbrush etc. items from China provided. Price of Hotelrooms are ok, Pool has been due our stay covered with leafs and thousands of insects. We left earlier and checked in-in another Hotel. Hotel rooms are dirty under Beds, Linen will not get changed by request, power socket unsecure as cables hanging out, AirCon provided but very noisy when switched on. Houserule list in room provided are very used and not up to standard-damaged with even loads of spelling mistakes from Hotel Management. For us no reason to recommend or even to come back!
