Sipano Bungalow

I stayed at Obama Beach / Sipano Bungalows for an extended period of time earlier in the year (2016). What I loved about this place, was a few things. The setting was simple and clean. You are family when you stay there. Can eat together with everyone in the common area or by ones self. Both equally awesome. The food was always prepared with love. *This is an opportunity to experience living in the village of Kiwengwa. For me being part of the African daily life and customs was essential. I found that communicating with the staff when something was needed was the key staying here. Accepting and Remember that Africa experiences disruption in services (Electric, water & internet) from time to time. Sometimes that is what is needed for everyone to reset. Also important side note* know that you will have the true and only opportunity to be part of the Masai Tribe. Every other hotel hires the Masai to come and dazzle their guests and security. But here is the only place that is true Masai. For those that would like to have night life as an option. It is the only place with a Restaurant, Bar and Night Club open to the public on the beach. Everyone is welcome. Epic Ambiance. Always select this place to go even if it is just for one night. This will always be one of my homes in Zanzibar. Kiwengwa.
