Location was just 5m walking distance to metro (Formosa Boulevard St. exit 11) and the LiuHe Night Market just there, too! 
Staff offered caring service and in good manner. They recommended tour route👍👍
Breakfast venue was next door in a basement. Food variety was enough but somewhat a bit mean offering fruit. Breakfast started at 7am but no refill for fruit once finished (just 30m later).

Still consider to stay again on my next leisure trip in Kaohsiung.

Great location to metro & night market

Located near to Liu He night market (walking 2 to 3 mins) and Formosa MRT (same walking distance). Easily access to anywhere cause the Formosa station is the interchange of other lines. The hotel is clean and smoke free. The room is acceptable, good for 4ppl but the bathroom has no shower curtain. The water splash onto the floor after shower. Can hear ppl talking outside the room.
Breakfast was included but only from 7 to 9.30 am. Choices not much but ok! Staff very helpful and friendly. They always greeted us whenever they see us. Check in very fast and let us know the details of the hotel. Will consider coming back in future.

Location of this hotel is great. Very short walk to the famous night market. And it's close to a subway station, MRT as it's called in Taiwan. Super comfortable bed and blanket. You can see they have renovated the hotel almost completely but not everywhere since the sink and toilet are newer style but the bath tub is old. Also no shower curtain so there may be some water splash onto the floor after taking a shower. The water is only luke warm until after several minutes. So if you enjoy hot shower, make sure to turn it on a few minutes ahead of time before jumping in. Breakfast was included and there were good choices including many hot dishes.

Great hotel and location

Location was great, near MRT Formosa Boulevard & Liu He Night Market, easy to find Taiwanese foods & snacks.
Fast check in, the staff/ owner was nice. Family room was spacious, clean & comfortable, separate shower & toilet. 
Free wifi. Breakfast was various and delicious. 

Clean & Comfortable

Firstly I think this hotel has changed name as now it’s called Idol. 
Secondly it’s more a 2 star hotel. It’s really run down. If it’s been renovated our room clearly didn’t get included in the renovation on floor 6. The shower was coming off the wall. It looked like the floor had never been cleaned. The breakfast is awful. 
However there location was good so if you want a cheap one night stay with a good location stay here 

Few day city stay

Only change the sheet under the duvet, not the cover,  imagine how many people has used that duvet before and how many bateria tracked inside,  kind of old hotel management.  

Canal mosquito inside washroom. 

Overall hygiene is acceptable except above, wont scare you out.

Best location, night market right just downstair  Melido station exit 11 + 3 mins walk. 

The floor of the hotel is not sticky,  clean enough that can step on barefoot. 

Compliment to the reataurant,  people very nice,  food is okay,  not terrible.

You choose this only because of the location,  othwrwise,  hotel with same price is wide selection in KHH.
